I bought $160 Madrid sandals and wore them less than a dozen times and the sole separated from the cork. They told me this was not a manufacture defect and they would not replace it because it appears I forced the 2 pieces apart. Not sure how they think I could or want to force able separate my soles of my brand new shoes. They also mentioned their product may not last more than a year. Their quality is definitely diminishing and they clearly don’t stand behind their product even after a few uses.
