I love what the unit provides in comparison to what it says it will do. Pictures are awesome, some of the videos are hilarious and I have been very happy with the results that I get. The app shows continual improvement from its beginning version. I have three minor annoyances. One, the business side needs improvement. I think I have set myself up to get a hummingbird feeder when it comes out, but truly don’t know without calling. Two, plugging in the USB cable from the solar charger is a real pain, as you have to insert the camera first, and then use two fingers to get the USB plugged in. Not easy, especially when it’s 10 degrees Fahrenheit. It would be better if you could plug the USB cord into the camera and then insert the camera. Three, the plastic “hinges” on the door in the back have broken. Some redesign needed there, I think. Overall, I’ve truly enjoyed the pics I get and am glad my wife bought in during the “kickstart days”.

We received Bird Buddy as a gift from our daughter, who is an avid birder. It was easy to set up, and is now attracting birds to the feeder. It is so much fun to receive notification that there is a bird at the feeder. The pictures and videos are very clear. We highly recommend this to others!

We received the Bird Buddy as a gift. It takes a little technology know how but I was able to figure it out. When we started getting our first “postcards” from birds in our feeder we got so excited. We especially like how the app tells what type of bird was visiting the feeder.

Love seeing the different animals (not just birds) that visit the feeder. It is interesting seeing them with such a close up view.

Great camera & app-BUT it was missing the USB cord and the pole mount. When contacted-Bird Buddy agreed to send the pole mount but told us to buy a USB cord!

Simple to set up. Trying to decide where to put it was the challenge, but once I did find an ideal spot, I loaded it with seed and boy o'boy! It's been one of the better products i.e. Bird Stuff, on the market and I am glad I was gifted this. Would highly recommend it.

I have loved my feeder since getting it up and running. It was pretty easy to pair, and I love the personal connection with wildlife in my yard. I love that the system identifies the bird species which is one of the reasons I wanted one. Thank you!

I love Bird Buddy. It has taken moving the feeder a couple of times for the birds to come. At first we were just getting a chickadee but now we have gotten a yellow finch. The pictures are very good and I have shared them with family members.

I got bird buddy (at my request) from my husband for my birthday. He set it all up for me in our backyard and we were BOTH pleased and surprised (he is not into birdwatching nearly as much as i am). So much so, that we both posted pics and info on facebook as well as shared with our family, friends and a horde of others so that at least three of them so far have bought their own bird buddies and are enjoying them and telling THEIR friends, too. The quality of photos and videos are very good, and the fact that they notify via phone/app when we have new stuff is perfect. More than happy with our new acquisition and would recommend to any bird people out there (even if just peripheral bird lovers). Janice Kuhn Hampton Cove, AL

I love my BirdBuddy. it’s so much fun just right amount of information to learn about the birds in my yard as well as share and connect with my family because they’ve all purchased them.

I love the pictures and videos but the setup was not easy. Instructions were lacking. I am also not a fan of the app. It is not user friendly at all.
