  • I’ve been a customer of Betterway since 2022. Previously, I was subscribed to No. 2 so I came in knowing what to expect of bamboo toilet paper. In terms of quality, I can’t really say that I’ve noticed a significant difference. If you’re used to the plush stuff, the switch to bamboo is noticeable. However, we’re also a bidet household so we’re happy to use bamboo if it means we can save some trees. Looking at pricing over the past few years, the price for 24 rolls increased by about $4-5 last year. I do wish there’d been clearer communications over it, but overall, I’m happy with products, especially the lack of plastic and cute paper wrapper for each roll.

  • Toilet paper is fine - not super plush, but not thin or scratchy either. Love that they come wrapped in nice paper as it enables me to store them on an open shelf while still keeping a nice aesthetic in the bathroom :)

In their own words

At Betterway, we believe that it's the little daily habits that have the biggest impact on how our future turns out. On both a personal and collective level we are committed to continue learning, improving, and finding better ways to do the little big things. It all began with a question: "How can we spend our working hours, working for the planet?" Back then we were digital nomads. We had been working as freelancers while traveling all over the world and one thing became clear to us: our home planet is a gem. Everywhere we went, we were in awe. Through jungles, lakes, oceans, volcanoes, and even salt deserts - we were intoxicated with the beauty of the rock we call home; so we decided there was nothing more worthwhile to spend our time on than protecting it. From using sustainable materials, to committing to plastic-free packaging, to offsetting our carbon footprint, our mission is to create and spread a culture of planetary consciousness, constant learning, and continuous improvement — because there is always a better way.
