Better Brand earns mixed reviews: the high-protein, low‑carb bagels and buns satisfy cravings and keep many buyers full, but texture and flavor divide opinion. Reviews praise the impressive macros, clean ingredients, and sleek packaging, while calling out spongy or chewy interiors, occasional blandness or saltiness, fiber-related GI discomfort, and a need to toast or load with toppings.

I love this product. My whole family ate them many times for breakfast when we were all together for the holidays, and, no-one could tell them from regular carb-loaded bagels. I now subscribe!
Feedback
Sometimes, they are not perfectly shaped, therefore, hard to slice.

Love the crunchiness. It’s a bit dense but that’s to be expected for the ingredients. Generally love these and they’re very filling!
Feedback
Texture is a bit unique but I’m okay with that.
I tried the everything bagel pack. I like the taste and the branding a lot. I think their mission of healthier carbs is great. It makes a tasty sandwich

Price is high. I'm not sure if I would continuously buy it but it's a nice treat.
I am OBSESSED with their bagels and the everything flavor is absolutely as good as the real thing!

If you're living a low-carb lifestyle, these are the perfect stand-in when you're craving something bagel-y.
These are actually really good for what they are and they don't leave me feeling weighed down or ill. Super satiating as well and tasty. The texture is a little different from regular bagels but they are still very good.
Feedback
I know they are meant to maintain freshness but I noticed it significantly improved the texture when I cut them before freezing them.

I really like the product idea - but I don't think it's there yet. I could not get through a single full bagel, after toasting/schmearing they turn dense and chewy within a few minutes. The everything bagel toppings tasted burnt and fake. The price point is also insane - I would rather go out for a bagel.
Feedback
Maybe a "sweeter" flavor such as blueberry would be more enjoyable, or a thinner bagel.
The nutritional information was very promising and who doesn't want a healthier way to consume their usual carb items? I am used to healthier food alternatives making certain compromises like Halo Top with icecream, Smartsweets with candy, Lilys with chocolate, but I couldn't find myself finishing a single Better Bagel unfortunately. The texture is very chewy and like a dense sponge-like bordering memory foam kind of bite. I've tried it with a cream cheese schmear and separately as a bagel sandwich with labneh, lox, heirloom tomato, red onions, capers, cucumbers and I feel that it works a lot better for the latter when it's buried under a lot of components. I'd stick to just reducing my "regular" bagel consumption or eat things on Ezekiel bread instead of buying another package of these bagels. It's all subjective though so please read more reviews to get a grasp if this is for you.
For my diet and lifestyle- these are INCREDIBLE!!!! would get them again and again
Overall, it is definitely a decent bagel with similar texture to regular bagel. It has a decent amount of protein so good if you are looking for that. The bagel was really salty in my opinion. I would recommend having it with cream cheese and tomato with a balsamic glaze drizzle to balance the taste out! Would only recommend this product if you are looking for ways to add more protein to your diet.

Wish it was less salty
Bagel were good but very chewy. The type of protein they use to make it high protein low carb made my stomach a bit upset. Not jumping to re-purchase
Feedback
The everything bagel topping was falling off of the bagel and was an absolute mess. I also was not in love with the overly chewy texture.
I love the branding + was excited about the value props. Healthy bagels that taste good? Hand it over!

Overall, I wanted to like it more than I did. The bagels didn't have holes in them (minor inconvenience), were difficult to reheat because they must be kept frozen, and were too doughy making it difficult to chew. I hope it'll continue to improve. Plus, the packaging was beautiful but too much in my opinion. Posted a full breakdown here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CYpDwZllMTx/

These bagels have been a game-changer for my morning. Typically, I get hungry about an hour after breakfast, but with the bagel I can get to the afternoon before I'm legitimately hungry again. The texture is definitely not bagel-like, but given the satiety factor and the macros, I can work with it. You do need to toast it until it's crispy (almost burnt) and add something to it, whether it's light butter and an egg, avocado, cream cheese or laughing cow etc. It's more of a vehicle for toppings than an actual "bread" if that makes sense. My favorites are the plain, the everything bagel, the cinnamon, and the sesame. For the gluten-sensitive folks, I cannot recommend the gluten-free version :( The texture is wet cardboard, doesn't toast well, and has a bizarre aftertaste that no topping can overcome.

J'ai eu l'occasion de tester cette marque. Fabuleux, je remercie un ami de me l'avoir fait découvrir. Il apporte beaucoup de fibres au corps en epargant le sucre.

So I tried a Better Brand Everything Bagel for the first time today upon the recommendation of a friend who said they were "pretty close to real bread." I've now learned never again to act upon this friend's food recommendations and wish I'd read the online reviews before spending $16 on just 4 bagels. They looked incredible and amazing and I couldn't wait to try them. The initial bite wasn't bad but after a few chews, the texture turned to completely flavorless, powdery-sawdust in my mouth. Um...ew?! Has the creator of these bagels not tasted their own product? I'm guessing no. Because if they had, they wouldn't dare put these on the market and actually charge people to eat them. I mean, they made Dave's Bread brand Bagels taste like real bagels, for goodness's sake! More problematic however, was the ASTOUNDING and downright DISTURBING amount of sodium contained in just ONE bagel: 650 mgs! For someone who's prone to high blood pressure, this is NOT good. I opted to try just half of the bagel accordingly but after that initial bite, I could barely eat the rest of that half. One of the most frustrating and unsatisfying breakfasts I've ever had in my four and half decades on this planet. I've thrown out the remaining 3.5 bagels because I'd rather eat eggs and get my protein that way than ingest these bagels which are, simply put, not worth the calories, protein, or anything else, frankly. Save your hard-earned money!

I have contacted and waited for over two weeks for delivery. As a new company, they won’t be around long at this rate. I was excited about trying? 🤷🏼♀️

Definitely not as tasty as a normal bagel; but worth the compromise in taste for the guilt free feeling of getting a good amount of protein and low carb (I love the ingredient list). As a vegan, these are a life-saver. Definitely need to toast and tastes best as a sandwich. Because of the lack of preservatives (that's a good thing imho) they can go bad quickly - something the brand forewarns. I keep mine in the freezer.

As a health conscious vegan, looking for low carb, high protein options - these are great. Yes they are pricey, but I am guessing many are willing to pay that price to eat clean and guilt-free.

Like many others, I purchased these for the ingredients. Due to health conditions, I am on high protein, low carb, low sugar diet via doctor's orders. I love bagels but haven't been able to eat them until finding these. I purchased the Chocolate Chip flavor with less sugar than a stalk of celery! After reading reviews about the very chewy texture, I toasted my first bagel to the point of being almost black...not a good idea. My second try was more successful. I enjoyed the taste and it felt decadent to eat chocolate without harm to my healing journey. Yes, these are pricey but it's not based on a brand name or celebrity endorsement. Quality made food naturally costs more to make.

So the texture after I toasted it was great, has a little interesting after taste but with cream cheese its not noticeable. Will say that the top seasonings on the "everything bagel" all kept falling off, so I would probably get plain next time. For macros it's a great alternative. Would buy again.
