At Bantu Chocolate, we have emancipated ourselves from an industry known for being very exploitative due to its archaic and well oiled supply-chain, and a system that keeps the profits very far from those who really need it the most and frankly, those who work for it the hardest.
If it is known that a cocoa farmers in Africa earn less than 1$ a day, we aim to pay our workers x10 times this amount so they can care for themselves.
We believe that empowerment over charity is the only way to design a better tomorrow.  A tomorrow based on equal exchange, and that is * Beyond Fairtrade.

Fully independent, from the seed planted to the finished product, we are sole cocoa farmers and change makers, dedicated to an equitably sustainable and de-commodified cocoa. 
We grow our cocoa in the land of our ancestors in Cameroon, make craft bean-to-bar chocolate using our own beans in London, and work hard to bringing equity and empowerment to our village’s community, and to Africa as a whole.
