    As a self-tanning expert, I have more Bali Body products than any other brand. I love the range of options and Clear 1 Hour Express is what I use when I'm feeling a bit pale but want to either 1) wear white or 2) need something in a pinch--like I'm going out in an hour and want subtle color FAST. I have the clear gel and mousse, but have found myself gravitating to the mousse more lately. It's easy to apply with a mitt--the hardest part is waiting to put clothes on (I try to wait 10 minutes). The only negative is that it does feel tacky for a while after application. I just dust my skin lightly with baby powder and that fixes the issue. I always wear it from application through to the next day. Another great Bali Body product to have in your self-tanning kit.

    If you're new to self-tanning, start here! If you're an experienced self-tanner, like me, this is the Bali Body product to use when you're feeling lazy about tanning. When the whole mousse and mitt feels like too much. You just slather this on (and I do mean slather), and in a few days with repeated use, you are glowy in the best way. It has a nice texture but is a little tacky when you first put it on. I tend to use it at night before I go to sleep or I wear looser clothes if I apply during the day. The smell is not strong and is pleasant in my opinion. I also use the tanning butter a few days after using Deep Violet Self Tanning Mousse, just to extend my tan and keep my skin moisturized. I love all Bali Body products because the color I achieve is natural, deep, and never orange.

    I'm a self-proclaimed self-tanning expert and Deep Violet Self Tanning Mousse is the best there is! I started self-tanning for the natural glow, but it became part of my lifestyle after having 2 melanoma. I've tried every brand out there and Bali Body is the best by far! Having worked my way through the collection using different products for different needs (1-hour instant, lotions, etc), I love Deep Violet because you can use it once and genuinely have a natural-looking tan for a full 7 days. I exfoliate the same day I use it, apply lotion to my knuckles, wrists, ankles, and knees, and then apply as directed. The color is strong when you apply it--which I love because you can see where you've applied it. I put on old pajamas and typically sleep in it overnight. When I rinse it off the next day, I look like I've spent a week in the mediterranean. If you're looking for a truly dark, but natural tan, this is the ONLY thing you need!
