Reviews mention

  • Durable, lightweight nylon construction
  • Playful, distinctive prints selection
  • Compact, fold-flat portability
  • Surprisingly spacious interiors
  • Awkward, slippery shoulder handles
  • Light-colored fabric stains easily
  • Occasional tearing or fraying reports
  • Detached storage pouch misplacement

BAGGU earns rave reviews for durable, lightweight bags that fold compactly, hold surprising weight, and come in playful prints and smart styles like the Medium Crescent, Duck Bag, Cloud carry-ons, and fanny packs. Reviews also flag drawbacks: classic tote handles slip off shoulders, lighter nylon can stain or show wear, some standard bags or masks have torn or frayed, and detached storage pouches are easy to lose; a few note in‑store rudeness and over-frequent drops undermining sustainability ethos.

  • Love the practicality of these fun bags. I have soo many reusable bags but this is the only one that folds up nicely and can be tucked into a small purse or backpack. It makes always having a reusable bag that much easier. The texture of the fabric isnt my favorite but its a minor thing.

  • All the cool kids have baggus! Loved having it in my pocket in case I do a little unplanned shop during an excursion. Unfortunately lost mine after a really good run (~4 years?), and definitely notice the difference between being able to have a lightweight foldup option vs having to carry an empty fabric tote as I now sadly do.

  • Love love love the different sizes, colors, patterns, and styles that BAGGU offers. I carry mine with me everywhere, it's the most chic and environmentally friendly bag I own!

  • I have so many baggus at this point, it's embarrassing but they just keep coming out with more and more fun prints and styles every season! I love how much the brand has grown since its birth and I'm thrilled to watch that; I'm also thrilled to support a company that jumped on the eco-friendly bandwagon before it was cool. They've stayed true to Baggu.

  • So handy. Great designs. Cost effective. These make great gifts too. Solid company treats its employees well.

  • I love their variety of patterns and designs and the product is as high of quality as you can get for what it is. I have their mini bag which is the cutest thing and nice to have in a small bag and also their large cloud carry on that fits everything and is also foldable and easy to whip out if I need a bigger bag while I travel.

  • The fun patterns, stylish designs and durable, high-quality construction of all their materials makes Baggu one of my favorite brads. Their bags are versatile and easy to clean. Their towels and home decor line is amazing, and I love their summer hats!

  • I am obsessed with Baggu. I have multiples bags, all such great quality! I enjoy all their options in both product and patterns.

  • I love love love Baggu! They offer so many amazing products besides just their reusable bags. I love their pouches and just bought their tent which is perfect for the beach. They're constantly creating fun designs and doing collaborations which keeps the brand so fun and interesting.

  • I have two shopping bags from Baggu and I love how compact they are. They take up far less space in my bag than traditional reusable shopping bags and have cuter patterns. Regarding their actual purses/bags, I am not a fan of the texture, which has been the only aspect deterring me from committing to one.

  • I’ve been following Baggu ever since they were a brand that mainly just sold their grocery bags and it’s been nice to see them evolve and expand their catalogue. I own several of their grocery bags and a medium nylon crescent bag. While their grocery bags were the main reason why I stayed following the brand, I’ve become more loyal to Baggu because of the crescent bag. The material is very practical and so is the shape. I can fit so much into the bag and wear it comfortably (for the most part). I especially love how it can take a beating but still look brand new. The material is the same as Kipling bags (which I loved for the same reason that it could take a beating) but the simplicity of the Baggu bags (in terms of silhouette and branding) is what made me transition. Many years ago LeSportsac was the “IT” bag when it came to everyday carry but now, it’s all about Baggu and for good reason. However, I do think a lot of their items are priced very high for what it is which is why I ranked it 4 out of 5 stars but a good sale is all you need to wait for.

  • On the go and need to keep a bag with you, but also add some flair to your shopping game. These bags are fun, color and durable! A goto bag for me and my family. Also this is a great gift!

  • Such fun prints! I’ve used their tote bags before and they’re fabulous lunch bags. Very fun whimsy brand and they have patterns for everyone. Great gift ideas!

  • I love the graphics and I do use all of my foldable baggus… but I can’t praise them too highly because they’re kinda overpriced. Additionally, they have a major design flaw: the pocket to hold the bag is not attached, so you can lose it. Ikea sells $1 bags that have a pocket attached to fold it up into.

  • Baggu forever!! I bought my first baggu for $1.50 from the clearance section of urban outfitters in college (10 years ago 😅). It’s still in my regular rotation of reusable bags I stuff to the brim at the grocery store and whenever I need an extra bag. I wish they’d bring back leather products!! some of my highest quality and most complimented pieces are baggu leather. In the meantime I’ll keep loving them for everything else they do.

  • Helpful to use for groceries instead of plastic and they have some cute designs

  • I love my Baggu bags! I have a couple different sizes in several different cute colors and patterns. I love that they fold up easily and have a little sleeve that they fold into. With the design of these, they are a bit difficult/weird to carry over your shoulder when they're full, because they stick out horizontally, but it's not a big deal. They're easily washable and have held up really well for several years.

  • I like them! They’re cute and get a lot of use. In my opinion they’re a little expensive for what they are though, I don’t know if I would go out of my way to purchase them again, but they make great gifts.

  • My Baggu bags are fantastic! I was gifted one years ago and purchased several others. They are compact and easy for me to take on the go. I used to forget my reusable bags when shopping but the cute prints and compact size help me remember to bring them.

  • I bring my BAGGU tote everywhere with me. It can fold up to such a size smaller than my cellphone. I live in a place that charges per bag when you shop, so having these in my wallet or purse comes in hand all the time. BAGGU is also coming out with fun new patterns so it's hard just to have one tote.

Make sure you pay attention to the sizing when you buy online! There is a size range for some of the bags.
