    i ordered several workout pieces from carbon38 website in 2016. i was unfamiliar with the brand but they met criteria i was looking at the time: tank top & capri i could wear for pilates or barre, nothing neon or crazy pattern. not knowing their sizing, thankfully everything fit great when it came.

    all the pieces i purchased were not great for working out, even just lighter activity like pilates or yoga. the fabric is more of a slippery material that doesn’t absorb any sweat so if i hadn’t had a towel it would’ve been even more uncomfortable. all 3 tanks have mesh or netting so washing without a laundry bag would almost certainly cause snags but that was my fault as i saw in pics before purchase. 1 tank is solid black with shelf bra & netting & red tank (in pic) with black trim i have worn several times as dressy tops under a blazer or sweater & bonus being extra comfy as they are supposed be workout tops. so they worked better that way than workout tops which you might consider when purchasing. i got all 3 items 30% off but wouldn’t pay full price as they are quite expensive

    Alala has quickly become my go-to brand for athleisure wear. I absolutely love their collection! The designs are trendy and comfortable, making me feel both stylish and relaxed.     I’ve been a fan of Alala for years! I have an entire drawer of leggings and theirs is always my “go-to.” I love how they mix edgy with femininity.

    Purchased my first Alala to celebrate my work promotion years ago and never looked back since. The compression tights are the best I’ve ever owned! Cinches you in without muffin top, and so easy to look smart casual chic with other pieces in my wardrobe. I’m 5 feet 4 - 7/8 tights hit me on my ankle just right! Being a top-heavy girl, it’s helpful that their sizes usually run true to size. Their high-impact bras are very supportive and hold my girls in real good without flattening them. Be sure to pick higher necklines instead of lower ones as those are more suitable for light impact workouts. Bought a few pieces for barre and I just use them to lounge and chill out. Ever since I became a new mama, I find their tops so chic and flattering. Especially on days where I feel so dumpy and gross, being dressed in something practical and stylish gives me such life. The tops wash very well! Having said that, I prefer darker tops so they seem pretty kid stain-resistant. We also live in a humid place and I look (and smell) great after a long day, so it’s not some bullshit marketing spiel. Even though it’s expensive, it’s worth it. You get what you pay for.
