  • I was so pleased by the quality of this one. Definitely more a Miele vibe, very sturdy, big suction power and surprisingly small. Perfect for my apartment. I had bought a Dyson 5 years ago for double the price - it fell pointless as it's already not working anymore and I had to put it in the street. I also enjoyed my interaction with their customer service, they have sustainability in mind and seem very passionate about their product.

I would love to see other color options soon!

  • Customer service - pretty good. they price matched after I received my order/they had a sale. unfortunately I threw away the packaging, so I was unable to return the vacuum within the return window. hardwood - stellar. great suction. easy to use. High pile rug - great. great suction easy to use. Jute & other low pile rugs - terrible. it's like pushing a truck in the mud. I was very surprised by this experience given it's efficacy on the other two surfaces.

The toggle between surfaces should be more effective. The brand prides itself on being an apartment friendly appliance, but who can hold onto all that packaging in an apartment? This isn't a unique problem, but a disappointing one given the price point.

  • Very fun-looking vacuum, and it worked well for my one-bedroom apartment- one room with hardwood floors, one with carpet, and one tile. It was less effective in my carpeted room, but as another reviewer states did well on my high-pile rug. Its storage footprint is fairly small and it tucks handily into a tall enough closet. I had a good customer service experience - I'd forgotten I had signed up for filter refills, and when I saw the shipment notification, I sent a panicked email saying that I hadn't signed up for a subscription. Airsign's customer support got back to me quickly saying yes I had, but they'll cancel future shipments, refund me, and I was able to keep the refill since it had already shipped. It was a painless fix and left me with a positive impression of the company. The vacuum itself is nice. I especially enjoyed the automatic reeling-in of the power cord, how easy it was to roll around the vacuum body/canister, and the slim tube design to make getting under furniture easier (and that it extended so that I could clean the corners of my ceiling with the crevice tool). I found I had some difficulty with the hardwood/carpet switch, however. Overall my experience with the Airsign vacuum has been positive, but ultimately I ended up reselling mine and swapping to a cordless vacuum, which better addresses most of my personal vacuum-based woes.

The hardwood/carpet toggle would often snap back when I tried to switch it, which was particularly frustrating. It'd be nice if the company also included a little tool to clean hair/fur/etc out of the vacuum head.

  • Horrible experience. It is a nice vacuum cleaner. However, what they don't tell you is that the replacement bags cost $35 + $9 shipping for 3 bags. Therefore $44 to get 3 bags. Alternatively, they offer 1 bag for $20 and I did not look into the shipping for that. There are no other compatible bags one can buy. So I am stuck here with a vacuum cleaner that is OK but unaffordable to maintain. Be aware before buying, otherwise it will happen to you too. I AM ADDING THIS BELOW 5 MONTHS LATER (today is Aprl 9 2024): Not only the bags were unaffordable, now they are also unavailable. Impossible to buy anywhere. Today I actually went to the Airsign office address listed on their website at 195 Chrystie St. Room 303 M and they don't exist anymore. I am forced to buy another vacuum cleaner because I can't replace the vacuum bag! UNEXPECTED TURN OF EVENTS AND I AM ADDING THIS BELOW 2 and a half MONTHS LATER: got an email from Airsign! They had difficulties running the company that have now been resolved. They sent me a package with 4 free vacuum cleaner bags, as they did to all the customers that needed the bags. Airsign seems to be running again and much better managed. Their vacuum cleaner's design is very cute and I believe, if well managed and well marketed, it could become very successful

    The MOMA sold it
