About A Thing of Sense
Our pursuit to perfecting our craft is an ongoing process that we embrace and take on with heart, and we are committed to only putting out the good stuff. We produce a signature line of handmade scented candles, all responsibly made in our studio based in Singapore. Whilst trying to find sense amidst uncommon times, we've ran ourselves through tireless rounds of mixing, testing and whiffing, and dreaming up our Scentscape; a signature line that comprises 9 unique scent blends, tailored to a mood or a fleeting moment in time. Each scent has been paired with a curated playlist and visual that makes up our Scentscape, the heart of our brand. Our materials are sourced from established suppliers based in Australia and the United States. All of our candles are hand-poured with 100% natural soy wax, scented with premium-graded fragrance oils (IFRA-certified), and do not contain any parabens or phthalates. Every candle is responsibly made, labeled by hand and personally packed with care here in Singapore. We welcome you to explore a thoughtful line of scents inspired by moments, nature and the seasons through time. Founding story: A Thing of Sense was founded amidst the peak of the pandemic in 2020; we like to think it is a reminder for us to slow down; but don't stop, to take in every detail, to listen intently, to take heart and to focus on the things that matter.
