Yoga Strong reviews and discussion

Yoga Strong yoga mats are very slippery and weigh a lot.. I should not slide on a down dog. They advertise that they are non slip and their website has many positive review and very few negative (that are hard to find). Yoga strong told me to use the cleaning spray or a yoga towel. The spray did not make the mat less slippery and I am certainly not making another purchase for a yoga towel. I am not sure why I need to spray or use a yoga towel when I purchased a "Super Grippy" yoga mat. They did offer to let me return it if I pay shipping and maybe I would get a store credit for another slipery yoga mat. I would recommend finding another yoga mat to purchase and not waste your on money on Yoga Strong.

Purchased this yoga mat from YOGA STRONG and immediately found it to be very slippery, which caused me to lose my balance during class. I contacted customer service, but they were unwilling to offer any refund or compensation. Based on both the poor product and my disappointing customer service experience, I would not recommend this company or buy from them again.

Buyer beware! The mats are terrible quality and there is zero grip. I only have myself to blame for buying this terrible product. And the customer service is even worse! If Samantha is on the other end of your email, just give up an forgive yourself for making such a huge purchase mistake

DO NOT BUY!! Does not work as described! It slips worst than my $10 yoga mat!

I ordered a yoga mat from this company recently. This was the first product I had ever purchased from this store. Wanted to see how their yoga mat compared to the manuka and Alo mats. When it arrived it was rolled up in a tubular box. I got the mat out and rolled it out to see what it looked like. I immediately didn’t like the pattern and size and it didn’t seem to have the traction I was looking for so I wrapped it back up again and put it back in the box. When I requested a return, they asked me to send a picture of the mat, so I again took it out of the box and rolled it out, took the picture and sent it to them. They then replied that because I had opened the packaging and rolled the mat out, that it couldn’t be returned!! It had to be unopened in order for a return to be accepted!!! I actually feel dumber for having written this. What type of reasonable business sends an online item to a customer and then refuses to accept a return because they had the audacity to unpack it to see if it was what they wanted!! I highly recommend avoiding this company. Manuka and Alo are way better quality mats and their customer service is way better. Someone needs to explain customer care to these owners because they are extremely lacking in it. Will never purchase from them again.
