A complete formula for REM Sleep + Deep Sleep.

Yin Sleep is a sleep aid that many consumers found effective for providing deep, restful sleep and waking up feeling refreshed. It's praised for its natural ingredients and lack of melatonin. However, some users reported adverse side effects such as nightmares and feeling groggy. Additionally, a significant number of consumers found it to be expensive and some didn't experience a noticeable change in their sleep patterns.

My daughter is finally sleeping through the night, but I noticed my sleep quality has been very poor. I can't fall asleep, I wait up in the middle of the night, and even when I have a full night of sleep, I wake up feeling groggy. 

I wanted to try Yin Sleep to see if it would help me feel more rested. It's honestly difficult to say after a 7-day trial pack. Perhaps a 14-day trial might be more helpful in assessing the effectiveness. Normally, within a week, I have about half days of good sleep and half the days are more difficult (issues falling and/or staying asleep). With the 7-day trial pack, it ended up being about the same in terms of sleep quality. So that didn't change at all. Perhaps the biggest thing I noticed was that when I did sleep well, I woke up feeling more rested and less groggy than I normally have. 

The price point is a challenge. With all the vitamins and supplements out there, I'm not certain if this one would be a "must have", especially if it's not producing amazing results. 

But I am curious and would be interested in trying for a bit longer just to see. I'll report back! 

Another positive, though, was GREAT customer service! 

I do feel like this helped me fall asleep faster and stay asleep overnight. I often have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep, and noticed it was easier to fall asleep and I didn't feel like I was waking up as much. It's not a sudden effect like a prescription medication would be, but does feel like it's doing something.

The format is a little annoying - it's three large pills per evening, which is quite a lot. I'm not super good at remembering to take pills, and even when I do the large dose is enough to sometimes put me off, so I wasn't able to consistently take these every night for 7 days as recommended. But on the days I did take them, I do feel like they helped.

I loved it! I've tried a handful of sleep supplements in the past because it's been expensive, I woke up groggy, or it had ingredients I don't want to be ingesting nightly (looking at you, melatonin). 

But with Yin Sleep, I felt like I fell asleep quickly and peacefully. No sudden "I need to be in bed right now, or I will be on the couch all night feeling. " I usually only sleep 7 hours, and I had a few nights of trying it out that I probably slept even less but never woke up sleepy!

I will definitely be back to purchase more. Shipping was fast too! So that's a nice touch. 

Unsure of the effects of Yin Sleep as I do not have any technologies tracking my sleep but based off my ability to fall asleep quicker, I'd say Yin Sleep does it's job. As for increasing deep sleep amounts, I've woken up the following day about the same as usual. Overall, I'd say try Yin Sleep and track your sleep to see if it actually works for you!

To be honest, it is hard to say if there was a noticeable change in my sleep patterns.

Not a huge fan! I tried taking this and I didn't have a greatest experience. I had such a weird sleep, and my REM significantly dropped. I currently use WHOOP to track my sleep. I woke up with a headache and really low recovery. Also I understand that this has Nanohemp in it, so that could be the thing. My body doesn't react to hemp really well, so that could be it too. But overall, I am going to take a pass on this. 

Coming from a science background I'm doubtful of most nootropics, so I admit I tried these with a healthy dose of skepticism. In the end, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The manufacturer is still dialing in the exact formula (I wrote the founder to find out more about the various ingredients), yet over the course of my seven-day trial I found this dosage to be quite effective. I had a deeper, sounder sleep five of the nights I used them, and had no negative physical or psychological reactions. And, since they impact REM sleep, I awoke most mornings having better recall of my dreams than usual, which I found telling. The primary ingredients are L-Theanine and magnesium, with other proprietary components like NanoHemp, NanoCBN, and an exclusive blend of eight terpenes labeled YinTerpene, though, other than possibly the terpenes, I don't know if these unique elements are of high-enough quantity to have a significant effect in and of themselves. That having been said, it worked for me, at least for a week. I'm not sure if it will retain the effectiveness over the long term, but I'm certainly going to give it a go for another month or so. 

so i'll preface this with the fact that i have never tried any sleep aids (ie magnesium citrate) and was going into this experience blind. after trying it for a week, i don't think it affected me in the slightest. i monitored my sleep before, during, and after for a week each and there was no noticeable change. i will say i was very good about adhering to their rules - no bright led/blue light 30 minutes before bed, having quiet time for at least an hour, yoga/meditating/stretching, etc - and i feel like that alone helped me sleep better.

This stuff is pricey, but I did the seven day trial and I felt like my sleep really did improve during that week. I felt more rested waking up, and it just felt like I slept "harder." I'm not sure if I can afford to keep purchasing it regularly because of the amount of other supplements I take, but I think this stuff is great!

These pills actually work but they just happen to not agree with me. Upon taking my first dose I noticed intense effects, sometimes things like this you feel nothing at all, that was not the case for me here. I am very sensitive to sleep medicines especially melatonin so I thought this would be good to try. For me it was even more intense, so I won't be continuing on it, but I appreciate that I could try it without the full commitment. I have a friend with sleep issues who takes a lot of melatonin and sleep gummies for insomnia who I will be gifting this to, but it was too much for me who thought it would be nice to have when I have occasional jet lag and/or stress related sleep issues.
