  • I bought this bag for my husband as an anniversary gift after going deep down the rabbit hole of mens travel bags. He doesn’t trvel quite as obsessively as he used to but we’re still on the road around 15 times a year. The bag he’d been using was an old rolling duffle he picked up years ago...functional once upon a time, but long past its prime. On our last trip, watching hotel staff struggle with it was my final push. From the moment this bag arrived, it was clear I’d made the right call. What immediately stood out: The hardware, zippers, and pulls feel incredibly solid. nothing flimsy or decorative-only here A true all in one design with garment storage and dedicated shoe space built right in Tons of thoughtfully placed compartments inside and out Beautiful, high quality leather Multiple carry options: rolling, shoulder, or hand carry (with a removable strap) Carry-on friendly without feeling cramped The Customer service deserves its own mention. I had questions before ordering and follow-ups after delivery, and every interaction felt personal, fast, and genuinely helpful. A bonus I didn’t expect: the packaging. The box itself is impressive, everything was wrapped impeccably, shipped securely, and the order updates were clear and reassuring throughout. I compared this against just about every designer and luxury travel brand I could think of, from mainstream to ultra high-end and still came back to this one. The design is smarter, the quality is there, and I appreciated supporting a company that clearly understands real travel needs and didn’t just slap a logo on a bag. Knowing it was created in response to actual traveler pain points made the decision even easier. Next on my list: the laptop bag. Highly recommend.

  • I received my large leather NOVA bag last week. This is my third Wool & Oak Kickstarter purchase, and just like my other W&O products, the quality of the bag is outstanding. The touch, look, and smell of the leather are stunning—even better than some designer bags. The hardware is both sleek and sturdy. The shipping hiccups during this campaign were frustrating, but I expected them from all Kickstarter projects. Things won't always go perfectly; it’s how people handle it that defines the team. I believe Wool & Oak has been doing a decent job. I personally find their communications clear, transparent, and effective. Overall, it’s been a satisfactory experience for me.

  • After waiting a year i finally got my bag- At first glance it looked good and quality, but as soon as you go to use the zippers you realize they are too "coarse" the zippers are not smooth, i knew right away this will be a problem as its so hard to zip- I packed the bag, and sure enough the zipper spreads open in the middle after you zip it up, upon reading more reviews on the kickstarter page, this is a common problem. Their customer service is of no help, after waiting a month, sending them videos of the problem they told me to goto a zipper shop and fix it myself and they'd reimburse up to $50 , what a joke, i didn't pay $500 for a bag and wait a year for this sort of outcome- oh well, $500 down the drain!

  • I ordered this bag in October for a Feb delivery. End of Feb I asked why I haven't received and they said due to a cyclone in China. A month later I asked why I still haven't received and they said it was a customs problem. It's now been 6 months and they say it is still months away. Read reviews on trustpilot. This is either a scam or a very poorly run company (and I'm not sure which one is worse).
