Reviews mention

  • Refillable aluminum case, visually striking
  • Elegant, nuanced fragrance selection
  • Smooth, moisturizing formula texture
  • Eco-conscious, low-waste business model
  • Inconsistent all-day odor control
  • Flimsy, jamming canister mechanism
  • White stains on dark clothing
  • Trapped, unusable leftover product

Wild earns mixed reviews: when it works, it keeps odor at bay with elegant, nuanced scents and a sleek refillable case; when it doesn’t, it underperforms—often failing to last 24 hours—while leaving white stains and product residue. Reviews praise the eco‑minded, reusable design and pleasant application, but cite flimsy or jamming canisters, leftover formula that can’t be dispensed, claggy texture, and occasional skin irritation as enduring drawbacks.

  • I love Wild. It takes a bit of getting used to when you switch to a natural deoderant, and for the first few weeks I didn't feel that fresh. But now it's great, and i have less discolouration than with other synthetic brands. Would highly recommend.

  • Really enjoy using this deodorant and find that the packaging looks great on my shelf. It is a little heavy and I would prefer if the brand could make an invisible gel version as I find that sometimes this leaves white marks on my clothes.

  • I like the brand ethos, but I just didn't find the product effective

The formula doesn't last 24 hours, and I found myself wanting to go back to my previous brand. Found it really ineffective.

  • Great deodorant. I've tried other natural and mineral deodorants before and nothing convinced me to switch from a traditional aluminium deo. Wild is different! My skin feels moisturised, no irritation, it smells INCREDIBLE and importantly - it works. Me and my clothes smell fresh after a busy day.

If I was being really picky, the case is quite big for a small deodorant. It'd be nice to have a smaller size that's easier to pop into a bag.

  • I'M EDITING MY REVIEW AFTER I LEARNED WILD SOLD TO UNILEVER. So much for the "mission." Original: 4/5 My husband and I have used Wild deodorant for over a year at this point. It always works well for me, and the variety of scents and limited editions are fun. My husband has a much more active job in construction so sometimes it's not up to that task, and it has stained the inside of his work shirts a chalky white in the pits. The case is easy to use when exchanging refills, and I appreciate the relatively small size.

  • Terrible customer service! My first order was wrong (it was supposed to include a bundle) but their customer service was unable or unwilling to sort it out so I received just the inserts ie not usable without the case! After over a month trying to sort it I eventually got my money back and ‘closed’ my account, a couple of months later and I have just received a subscription fee clearly they haven’t closed my account and have charged me, again I have requested to have my account closed and am awaiting responce! Steam well clear of them

  • In the beginning I was very excited! I thought I finally found a natural deodorant that actually worked. The different scents smelled great and it worked better than some anti-perspirants I had been using. I also liked the idea that it's plastic free and sustainable. But a few months in, I'm starting to notice the negative sides. In the summer months, it doesn't last a day, not even half a day. If I wear a sleeveless top, you can see the white marks in my armpits, it accumulates in the creases of my armpits. It kind of melts away and stains my tops. If I wear tops with sleeves, my shirts start to smell bad and washing doesn't help the smell disappear. Sometimes I have to wash my tops three times and I still smell a hint of bad odor. The case is cute, but there's a waste of product left in applicator refill when it can't push up anymore. Very disappointing.

  • To start, I have been using this deodorant for over a month now and I absolutely love it. For starts, my armpits have been sensitive since I got really bad heat rash as a kid and have now noticed in my adult life that commercial deodorants hurt to use after awhile. So, I saw a few advertisements for this deodorant and after extensive research, I gave it a try. It came in a very compact packaging, which is always nice. I got the sensitive skin Coconut and vanilla, which isn't really my scent, but it smells amazing none the less. After my body adjusted to the natural deodorant, I only have to apply once a day in the morning and can still smell a bit of it by the end of the day. I apply twice a day (once in the morning, once after a shower) and it's lasting longer than advertised for me (supposed to just last a month but I'm only a third through it.) The formula also applies smoothly and easily. Over all, I do not smell, my armpits are decently dry for a non-antipersperant, and it even kept the smell at bay while my body was adjusting, which is known to be the time in which you smell the worst. Now, for the reasons I docked down a star. First, they do not have good tracking when shipping to the US. I live in a dorm, which means I have to go to the front office to get all my packages. I barely knew when it came in and only got it when getting another package. I emailed customer service to see if they could give me an estimate when their website would not, and they didn't even seem to have read my email and just thought I was trying to figure out when my next subscription was going to ship. Second, I don't like how it forces you to order 3 refills at a time. Again, as someone who lives in the US, the refills are not sold in local stores, so I have to order. Having a stash would be fine except the packaging is not air-tight and I live in a humid area so I'm afraid that they might mold and I will have wasted product and money. So, it would be nice if they changed that so I could just keep one refill on me at a time. Thirdly, the design of the refills and case results in wasted formula when you get to the end, which is wasteful. I haven't ended up at the end of mine, but according to others, to try and used the good amount left at the bottom is difficult and extremely messy. Finally, the normal formula has a pH of 8. This high of pH would be fine if it was soap, but for deodorant to be that alkalinic can cause problems like dry skin and irritation because it can weaken the skin's acid mantle, remove too much of the natural oil on your skin, and kill the good bacteria that helps protect your skin. It's strange that the formula is even backed by dermatologists. The sensitive skin has a pH of 4-6, which is the recommended pH for deodorant. And the sensitive skin works just as well as the normal. But, despite this, I will still be trying a normal one on my already usually dry and sensitive skin so I can give a full review at some point. I know there has been people use the normal formula for years with no problem, so it depends on your body I guess. Overall, I do think it's a good product for me, and I like that it's zero plastic. It doesn't work for everyone, but rarely does anything. The company just needs to work on the problem of their website, inner workings, and product design. Especially since there is several different designs that would be an easy solution that would fix the third problem I mentioned.

  • The concept is nice but the case got jammed after only one refill and not able to use to use this product anymore. Will not be buying again

  • I’ve been using wild now for a few months and it’s brilliant, my whole family and my girlfriend use it and all think that it’s amazing! I particularly love the coconut and vanilla scent but everything that I’ve tried so far has smelt great! I will definitely continue using wild.

  • Tried to use it for 2 weeks, useless, leaves spots on your clothes, and unpleasant crumbs, all the time u r using the product is transforming into the crumbs 🤷🏻‍♀️ just waste my money as bought the refills too, I literally throw them in the bin, like new, as I really could NOT USE IT. Highly NOT recommend, just can’t find the picture , but believe me is not good, the 2£ one is better😂

  • Container arrived broken. Website has no visible customer support for orders. Took forever to get it to stop pushing me into the UK store instead of the US store. Can't even use product or lodge a complaint with Wild. Save your money. There are other eco-friendly deodorants out there.

  • I HAVEN’T RECEIVED MY ORDER AFTER MORE THAN A MONTH. Despite advertising on their website that EU orders would be shipped from an EU warehouse to avoid customs fees, they actually ship them from the UK, resulting in significant import fees that they refuse to cover or to do anything about it. Customer support is frustrating, I always get replies from a different person saying a whole new thing, none of them solves my issue. A few days ago, they said they were going to send my order FOR THE THIRD TIME because I never got it. But now they are deciding to cancel it after I have waited for more than 1 month. Please do something about it, this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company. ORDER #851901

  • I saw reviews and I had to post mine because I truly don't understand how someone could not like this product. I have tried most, if not ALL natural deodorants and this is hands down, the best! There was no adjustment period; it just worked. Yes, you may sweat, but sweat is GOOD because it rids your body of crap. We are humans and we sweat, what's the big deal? I have tried every smell and they're all great, but I do agree, maybe a more masculine one? My husband uses it too and loves it and it has never failed him. As for the 48 hour complaint? Just reapply after 24, it's not that hard. This is eco friendly AND affordable. Two descriptions that often don't go hand in hand. I pay about $18 every few months for the (3)refills and they usually ship pretty quickly. I have never had an issue of them drying out or whatever someone else said? I think a lot of these reviews are absolute BS.

  • I wanted this to work out so bad, and it did! I used to use Dove pomegranate 48 hour protection. I sometimes forget to put on deodorant (I don't go out much). So the 48 hour was beneficial. However, I was worried I wouldn't even get 24 hours from Wild since it's more natural. But I'm trying to be environmentally conscious with my consumables so I gave it a shot. It works just as well as Dove! I'm so happy! And being able to choose a case for it was a fun part of the process! I picked the boobs. It's so cute. There's even a boob w a mastectomy ❤️ Highly recommend! Oh and I've been using it for 2 weeks now in this 100°+ weather - going outside every so often to smoke a couple ciggs. So I'm sweaty. And it's working. All I smell is the scent not the sweat!

  • I'm very satesfied with Wild deodorant, i have tried different refills. I'm most pleased with these sentsitive ones, such as ocean (limited edition) and cotton. I love their packageing and colours. I can only write about my experience, but i think your body takes 1-2 weeks to settle with this kind of a new product. I don't sweat that much anymore and i just can say that it works 100% for me. I recommend!

  • Really don´t recommend it. Beautiful smell but is not effective at all in sweat and odor control. Also the website is sneaky, lets you place the order and after the login doesn't work so you cannot post a review or cancel refill subscriptions. The only way I was able to cancel was through email. Unfortunately a big disappointment for me.

  • Really annoyed! I purchased the deodorant starter pack which I was super excited about. Not only did it take weeks to arrive but now it’s here and they have sent me the container and no refill even though I paid for a refill?? Not happy.

  • I like this deodorant and have been using it for a while, though I’m considering stopping. I find it works well as a deodorant unlike other natural brands but my main issue is that it doesn’t last long and I find that the packaging is designed in such a way that there’s about 1/4 of it left at the bottom which you can’t get to. It’s not a cheap deodorant so I end up gouging it out with a cotton bud and applying it with my hands so it’s not wasted! It’s messy and annoying and while the reusable/recyclable packaging is great, I’m really surprised that for an eco friendly company they haven’t thought about this wastage…

  • I like the brand vision and sustainability and I really was engaged with them, however, the product is very far from what they claim on marketing channels. I find it completely ineffective, especially st the summer season. The nice odor smells a few hours max. Very disappointing.
