Reviews mention

  • Chic monochromatic color palette
  • Easy-clean waterproof leash material
  • Soft, adjustable neoprene harness
  • Weighty, modern stainless bowls
  • Uncomfortable leash handle ergonomics
  • Chipping hardware coating durability
  • Harness fit loosens during walks
  • Fray-prone rope toy construction

Wild One earns mixed reviews: the brand’s cohesive, color-forward walk kits and chic basics look great and often clean easily, but durability and ergonomics vary. Reviews praise soft, adjustable harnesses, wipeable waterproof leashes, sturdy bowls, and long-lasting rubber toys like Bolt Bite; complaints cite leash handles that chafe, hardware paint chipping, harnesses loosening or fitting awkwardly (especially on broad or long bodies), rope toys that fray quickly, poop bags that tear, and light hues that stain.

  • Absolutely love my kit from WildOne. I've had it for 2 years now and I always go back to it every time I try new ones. It's super cute as well and makes my fur baby look chic.

It would be perfect if the harness/leash could take on stronger/larger breeds. I have a boxer who I'd love to purchase this for but unfortunately I don't think it can withold the weight.

  • Love my dog bowls, and the colourways used across the line.

With shipping and duties to Canada they felt a bit overpriced.

  • I was very excited to test the leash, collar, and bag dispenser w/ bags that we purchased from FabFitFun. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of our hopes. The leash and collar were thick and cumbersome to use; even the smallest size was uncomfortable for our Havenese dog, who is not at all picky and tolerates most anything. The bags didn't contain odor in spite of us changing our gargabe bags daily (we always do this) so we had to take them directly to the outside trash after use, which was cumbersome. Lastly, the elastic that attaches the bag dispenser to the leash is the same as a thin hair hair tie elastic ... definitely not rugged enough to last more than a few weeks and it already started coming apart after a short time. I really wanted to love these pieces as they are esthecally quite lovely, but we simply couldn't make it work.

The leash and collar need to be much smaller and more delicate to be comfortable for smaller breeds, the disposal bags can be improved by containing odor better, and the elastic attachment for the bag dispenser should be significantly more rugged.

  • Love the colors and aesthetic but they're really over priced and I find that the harnesses do not keep their level of tightness -- they loosen up quickly making it dangerous for pets who could slide out of them.

  • We get loads of compliments from her matching leash and harness. I particularly love the leash for how soft it is in my hand- we’re still training puppy on leash walking and the softness of the leash has been so helpful compared to the burns I can get on other nylon leashes.

On the pricey side for similar items from other brands.

  • I loved the concept of these products, but eventually had to replace all the items I bought. After a year of use, the finish of the leash started getting oily—even washing it wouldn't help. And since the D-ring pushes in to unlock, one tug in the wrong direction and my pup easily got off-leash. It just became a safety issue.
