Reviews mention

  • Gentle bristles minimize breakage
  • Painless detangling for tender scalps
  • Versatile wet-and-dry performance
  • Lightweight, ergonomic brush designs
  • Fragile bristles and comb teeth
  • Peeling paint and plastic scuffing
  • Static-prone plastic materials
  • Hard-to-clean lint buildup

Wet Brush earns strong reviews as an effective, gentle detangler that reduces pain and breakage on wet or dry hair, with many loyalists citing the Original Detangler, Paddle Detangling Brush, Shine Enhancer, vented and shower brushes as daily staples. Reviews also flag drawbacks: bristles and comb teeth can break, paint and plastic scuff or shed, some users struggle to clean lint, and performance can falter on very thick, coily, or curly hair and when used with heat.

  • Definitely love the wet brush I got an Ariel one for my daughter for her birthday and she loves it! It untangles her hair super well and she loves to use it all the time!

  • This is my favorite hair brush have been using for over 7 years! As a wavy girl that saved my hair from damage and for styling

  • For my very straight and fine hair this brush was a life saver. From de tangling to distributing the hair mask evenly across the length of my hair. Simply perfect.

    Shopped it on my own
  • A life changer for those with wavy or curly hair!

  • It seems stupid to invest in a hair brush but using this one has completely changed my mind. Getting one of these was highly recommended by my hairdresser--brushing your conditioner into your hair in the shower with one of these has helped me reduce the amount of hair I am shedding and makes my hair products go farther. If you buy one product from this brand let it be the shower detangler! Mine has lasted me years and is great as both a styling tool and in the shower.

  • What I liked about the Wet Brush is that it's affordable, comes in different colours/designs, and can be generally easy to use when showering. As someone with thick and coarse 3C hair, I noticed that I still had some knots left in some parts of my hair which I had to go over and detangle, even after completing the washing/conditioning/treatment/styling of my hair and sectioning curls into smaller sections. Also, some strands of hair can occassionly get stuck in the brush beads. It may work better for people with looser curl patterns.

  • I love my wet brush. I have very long hair and it easily removes tangles without tearing the hair!

  • I’ve been a hairstylist for almost 20 years and this is always my go to brush that I recommend to all of my clients! It’s tough on tangles but gentle enough that even your most tender headed person won’t complain!

  • Certain brushes work better than others. Some give static to my hair but it does brush thru

  • I always buy the mini wet brush! It’s so convenient & really good for on the go!

Received a free product from Wet Brush
  • I ordered 2 seperate brushes. One a brush that is claiming to add shine to my hair, when? The other is a detangle brush, it does. For the price of the shine brush, I'm still waiting.... its more than I should've paid. The detangle brush was also a bit more than I normally would pay but I do see the difference in breakage & detangle.

  • Love these brushes. With a little bit of detangling spray, they work great to get the knots out after a shower or a swim in the lake. Love them!
