  The leggings are extremely comfortable. They hold up best when you follow the precise care conditions. Regular wear, washing, and drying does make them wear faster and pill. They stay in place during high intensity workouts, but given the softness of the fabric they don’t feel like they provide as much compression as I would like.

  I had high hopes for Vitality. After following the brand—and its founder Taylor—for years, I was genuinely excited to finally place an order during one of their sales. Unfortunately, the experience was a major letdown. The quality of the leggings was some of the worst I’ve ever encountered. They pilled after just one wash, despite the fact that I’m super careful with my athletic wear (always wash them together, always hang to dry). One pair even developed a hole right on the rear after just one wear. Thankfully, I didn’t pay full price, but even at a discount, I expected more. I know the brand has likely evolved since then, and maybe newer collections are better—but based on my experience, it was hard not to feel disappointed after building up so much excitement around the purchase. Bottom line: I really wanted to love Vitality, but the quality just wasn’t there. Hopefully it’s improved since, but I will not try again.
