Reviews mention

  • Durable fabrics, everyday wearability
  • Comfortable technical layers, heattech
  • Breathable airism performance textiles
  • Versatile, minimalist wardrobe staples
  • Inconsistent sizing, boxy fits
  • Occasional fabric pilling, fragility
  • Down jackets tear, leak feathers
  • Limited length options for tall

Uniqlo earns largely positive reviews and proves a reliable source for well-made basics that perform—HEATTECH and AIRism consistently keep wearers comfortable, and ultra light down holds up over years of travel. Reviews also flag weaknesses: inconsistent sizing, occasional quality dips (e.g., denim, cashmere, down tearing), and frustrating return policies for online orders, making in‑store try‑ons preferable.

  • This may seem dorky and random , but they make my favorite Disney shirts! Unique designs that aren’t overly cheesey is often hard to come by in the Disney world. Add that the quality is good and they last and it’s a win!

  • Big fan of their clothes. They can be a little boxy and fit weird, but I’m still a love it. Especially their dresses and heat tech.

  • I usually buy their everyday t-shirts for my husband and myself and we both loooove the quality and price point on those! They’re extremely well made and feel very luxe. Their heat tech line is really good too! Extremely warm, very lightweight and great quality.

I wish they had more in person stores in the US

  • Uniqlo has become my favorite store for high-quality affordable basics! To this day, I still have multiple shirts, and winter layers that still look new. Also, their heat tech is the best thing out there. My best tip is to always air dry them no matter what the tag says to make them last longer. Overall, highly impressed and would recommend!

  • Great for basics, especially their heat tech products!

Some of the clothes are boxy and the collaborations sell out too fast.

  • The best basics that last, and really beautiful collaborations that don't "cheapen" the luxury brand partner which is impressive.

  • Fast Fashion pretending they're not. My partner gifted me a 150 euro Uniqlo voucher. I put together an order totaling 152.80, with the remainder to be paid via my bank card. Unfortunately, multiple attempt to complete this transaction over the past few months have failed, with Uniqlo customer service frustratingly offering little to no assistance. They initially attributed the issue to my bank. After contacting my bank, they assured me that there were no issues on their end. I was informed the only reason the bank would stop a payment so small is if I was being scammed. After reiterating this to Uniqlo and asking if I was being scammed on 3 separate incidents, my query about being scammed has never been answered. What frustrated me most was the lack of effective communication from Uniqlo regarding the situation. Despite asking multiple times if there was a security concern or scam-related issue causing the payment failures, I received no clear response or reassurance from them. On the other hand I now have a 150 euro voucher that is unusable, and an annoyed partner who wasted 150 euro. I asked Uniqlo customer service the process for my partner to request a refund, and again Uniqlo are being unresponsive, they will reply to the part of my email they want to and ignore all other queries. Thankfully we are Irish and have made a complaint to the CCPC (The Competition & Consumer Protection Commissions), who I am confident will get my partner his money refunded. On another note, I have ignorantly made many an instore purchase with Uniqlo previously. I started buying from Uniqlo after I saw the man who created the company being interviewed and talk about their company ethics and how they are not fast fashion. I was duped, its all BS! I have recently discovered Uniqlo is owned by the same company who owns H&M, called Fast Retailing Company Limited. So technically the bank is right, I have been scammed all along, just not the way they meant! In summary, I have completely lost my confidence in Uniqlo. And you can be sure I am telling everyone.

  • I've tried ordering from them but the products never arrive and getting a refund is a long and painful process. Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend.

  • Never buy from Uniqlo SA

I bought an item from Uniqlo SA but never received it. After a number of emails it became apparent that I will not get my item or any reembursement. I was also never able to track my parcel with the tracking number provided. It is a scam.

  • Great quality. Love their stuff. Expensive af though

  • Merchandise is hit or miss so DON’T order online because they charge for returns!!!! I ordered a shirt for my son that was too tight in the chest so a larger size wouldn’t help. I had ordered online for in store pick up using their app. They don’t allow returns to the store. Had to pay $7 to return via usps, for a shirt that cost $39. Will never order through app again!!!

  • I have ordered 4 items and had to return all 4 because they were to big. Although originaly packed and in the same condition as I've reveived them, I only got refund for 3 items.

  • Backpacking to Europe a couple times had me buy Uniqlo’s comfy layering wear. My best find had to be their AIRism mid-waist no lines, feel-naked women’s soft coloured briefs. To my biggest disappointment this year, they now only offer the waist higher cut briefs. It took me forever to find comfortable briefs and now they are no longer available… I am so very sad 😞

  • I love how the basics are true to size and are easy to clean. The color does not fade even after years of wearing them. The jackets are very warm and effective for Canada's winter.

    Loyal customer
  • i have many many uniqlo clothes but find myself always wearing uniqlo socks!

  • Awful customer service experience. I ordered a €120 coat online, expecting it to be black as described. To my disappointment, the coat was a different color. Even after providing clear pictures showing the discrepancy, customer service failed to offer a solution, leaving me responsible for the return fee. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I won't be making future purchases from them.

  • Incredible basics - made well, great price. Their Oxford shirts are a staple in my wardrobe.

  • It's really vary for this brand. First, I'm totally love their Airism or Airsense collection, easy to care and comfort to wear. Personally recommended for t-Shirt, Pants or Sleepwear. It's durable and comfy. Get some pack of t-shirt and you are good to go outside everyday. And roots for it Easy care technology which help me save a plenty time on ironing clothing! But the things I may not like or recommended their underwear (except relaxed bra design), torn apart so easily which I think it's not worth the money and not sustains if you have to repurchase it almost every years. Also, the rayon type clothing which also torn in just a year after wearing for a few times.

  • I'm a regular client, love their t shirts, shirts and coats. Super easy to wear and style! Affordable for the quality and perfect design.
