Uniqlo earns largely positive reviews and proves a reliable source for well-made basics that perform—HEATTECH and AIRism consistently keep wearers comfortable, and ultra light down holds up over years of travel. Reviews also flag weaknesses: inconsistent sizing, occasional quality dips (e.g., denim, cashmere, down tearing), and frustrating return policies for online orders, making in‑store try‑ons preferable.

High quality basics. Make sure you visit the store to get the right sizing, but they sell a wide range of solid-quality products that are ideal for layering.
Love for the basics in my warderobe. Especially the socks and the popular airism men’s T-shirts!
Great stunning jackets. It's very warm and nice.
I love three things at Uniqlo: heattech clothing; legwarmers which I take on all travel as a way to adjust to temperature changes and buy used on ebay when Uniqlo is out of stock; and the artist t-shirts - I just wish there were more female cut ones. The unisex/guys shirts are more numerous and often cooler, but look ugh on me.
I love Uniqlo and nearly every single thing they make. I hope that they continue to maintain their dedication to producing high quality items at reasonable prices as they continue to expand their US business, as I worry they may move towards a fast fashion model for profitability. As of now I still trust the brand and shop there frequently for most of my wardrobe basics. Their clothes and accessories always last the longest in my clothing collection due to their high quality construction and timeless designs/silhouettes. If you still have not yet tried Uniqlo, you NEED TO TRY.

Amazing quality for the price. Not everything is the most fashion forward but I often choose Uniqlo over places like Theory or Rag and Bone for basics because I find the quality to be comparable and the price is unbeatable. Unlike many fast fashion brands at this price point, everything I have purchased from Uniqlo I still have in my closet, some of it many years later, and none of it has ripped, unraveled, faded, or just become wonky the way many more cheaply made items tend to do. A+ for basics. If I had to say something negative it would be that their size range can sometimes be limited and their cuts are not always designed to be the most flattering but that is more of a personal style note.
Great quality. Great when you just want basics. Reasonably priced. The only issue I have had is sizing tends to be off.
One of my favourite clothing brands. Similar to Muji, but the style and sizing are slightly more inclusive in my opinion. They offer many well-made basics and rainjackets. Bought a few items of clothing from them in 2014 and wasn't able to find a store of theirs until a recent trip to Malaysia - luckily the quality is so great that the clothes look and feel new, just in time for a wardrobe update.
High quality if a little pricy. I regularly wear their their dress and linen pants. Just recently got a shoulder bag from them in the cutest green color. I'm loving the bag so far, and an unexpected surprise was that when my water bottle spilled inside it, it dried SUPER fast. I do have one gripe about the pants; even when not listed as an ankle pant almost all of their pants fall at that length for me. Would love to see a some longer options!.
have been buying uniqlo for years with no plans to stop. very specific style of clothes as to be expected so I tend to stick to their basics as their more blocky clothes don't suit me. i live in heattech in the winter and airism in the summer and recommend it to everyone. great period underwear as well and I have several dresses which I love the art and media collaborations are always fun and I love to see who they are collaborating with when I check out the stores

Great brand for every day basics. Basically Japan's version of H&M, however the quality is surprisingly good, especially from the Uniqlo U line. Have some pieces I still wear from 2-3 years ago. The majority of my basics (blank tees, button ups, trousers, puffers) are from Uniqlo.
lovee this brand’s heattech technology. i have like 5 long sleeves from them for over 4 years now and i still wear them all the time. they’ve lasted daily usage over the last couple of years and still in great quality and condition. they’re still soft and i don’t experience any pilling from the material. it can be a little pricey but they do have some sales where you can get them for cheaper. either way, they last a long time so you don’t have to worry. my body temperature usually is pretty cold, so the heattech technology doesn’t always work for me in colder temperatures but it definitely keeps me way warmer than other long sleeves i’ve tried in the past. my boyfriend also buys shirts and jackets from here and they’re great quality and look simple but like an elevated basic. we love this place and just wish it wasn’t so expensive or that they’d have more sales, but at least the quality is fairly good so the price is more reasonable.

High quality for basics
Great quality for the price, staples and essentials to build your wardrobe.
PRODUCT go to for affordable, comfortable, staple wardrobe pieces. I own a few of their compressible puffer jackets which have saved me on many travel trips and colder nights out. I’ve had one for at least 10 years and love the compact functionality. They always are on top of cute tee collabs.
Good quality products at prices that are mostly reasonable. Occasionally things feel overpriced but mostly I feel like it's a good value. I wish their size range was a bit more inclusive though, and sizes are a bit inconsistent. But a great brand for wardrobe staples
I've never bought a disappointing item of clothing from Uniqlo. My roommates and I make trips to Disney Springs specifically to shop at Uniqlo because we love the clothing so much. They always use high quality material that stands the test of time and looks great even after 100 spins in the washer.
love uniqlo for basics

I have only been able to experience uniqlo when i happen to be in a city that has a retail location because their online ordering experience is awful. free shipping is hard to get, you never know what size you are because it varies product to product, and there is no free returns. very unfortunate because I think i would get a lot more of my basics from here if i could just try them on risk-free. they're also more expensive than they used to be
Love this brand - it's where I get a lot of my clothing basics like t-shirts, button ups, and pyjamas. The quality is amazing for the price and fits my petite frame super well.
I really like Uniqlo! Their products offer a nice "base" to my outfits and their quality is surprising given their cost. They also have incredibly cheap dress socks that come in every color. I like their store, but I don't love their website -- I would always recommend using their storefront whenever possible. I've tried their shirts, longsleeve shirts, mockneck shirts, and pants.
