Reviews mention

  • Effective hyperpigmentation treatment results
  • Calming relief for reactive skin
  • Playful, distinctive packaging
  • Lightweight, layer-friendly textures
  • Strong sulfuric product odor
  • Occasional drying, irritating formulas
  • Fussy metal tube packaging
  • Messy, awkward spray applicators

Topicals earns strong reviews for products that visibly fade hyperpigmentation (Faded serum, High Roller) and calm sensitive, reactive skin (Like Butter), indicating the brand works when used consistently. However, many reviews criticize the sulfuric/chemical smell, occasional dryness or irritation, and fussy metal tubes or messy sprays, making the experience divisive despite cute, thoughtful packaging.

  • This is a review for Faded I will keep it short and simple. It stinks but it does the job. Helped with clearing up my hyperpigmentation from skin picking but the smell is pretty foul. Still, the product was so effective that I want to buy more of their other products.

  • Love the products! Faded actually might be the only product that is able to fade my hyperpigmentation. The spray version however gets a little messy. The butter face mask is also nice, I do not mind the smell. I do find it is better for me to wear it before showering to hold in the moisture, then I rinse it off at the end rather than an overnight mask. Cute packaging is also a plus!

  • I use their like butter spray and the body exfoliating lotion they have and I would say AMAZING. I love the products and the packaging, and want to purchase more. I used the butter spray lotion as my regular body lotion and it was the best purchase. I find it hard to find lotion that is good with my sensory issues but this one works

add more product in the butter spray, only lasted like 3 weeks

  • I have eczema and used the Like Butter mask. I didn't notice any benefits and it did not smell great. Maybe it would work for someone else! The branding is fun.

  • Faded works great (only a few weeks in to use and it’s working on even old hyperpigmentation scars), but like everyone has said: it stinks. It definitely takes longer than you think to fade away so more of a nighttime product

    Smell!

  • I have only tried the like butter mask but omg it is amazing. Makes your skin soooo soft and smooth. I have dehydrated skin that can tend to flake due to retinol and acids use. This mask is the only thing that makes my skin soft and hydrated. Also love the packaging.

I wish topicals had more products, the range is not very big at all.

  • Fades is by far my favorite of the Topicals line, it helped me fade stubborn acne scars from wearing a mask

The smell is a little off putting but you get used to it

  • I was really hyped on this product and I realllly wanted to love it. I'm not entirely sure if Faded worked for me. To those who are trying, I would recommend being very consistent and taking before/after pictures. :-)

    Feedback

I don't have many positives for Like Butter. The consistency really did not work with me, I was looking for something like Skin Food by Weleda but with a bigger punch from the actives.

  • Just started trying out the like butter mask -- feels REALLY rich, which is personally a bit much for me. I can see those with super dry skin really loving this though.

Would love to see more products from this brand, especially for those with different types of skin!

  • Prefacing this with the fact that I know skincare results vary wildly person to person. Due to not enough SPF in my youth I've been looking for something to fade some sunspots popping out. Really wanted Faded to be the "it" product for me, but sadly it wasn't. Like so many other things I've tried (a bunch of vitamin C serums and Ambi Fade Cream), my spots remained stubbornly unmoved. The packaging is super cute, I love the brand's story, and I love that they started with a small line that they can expand without overextending.

  • I like the fact that it was skin barrier friendly, I didn't remember to patch test and I'm glad I didn't have to regret that. I just don't think its affordable for the average Nigerian skincare girlie looking for affordable product to invest in on the long-term but overall, it was good.

  • I use both High Roller for hyperpigmentation and Slick salve for my dry lips, and I swear by them both. High roller is a staple in my post shave routine, and I have really seen a difference in my hyperpigmentation and ingrown hairs. Slick salve is my go to every single day with a nice brown lip liner to top it off. Couldn't recommend more!

  • I have purchased the Topicals Faded cream in the beginning of March, and I am already on my second cream. I have hyperpigmentation/dark spots and I have noticed them getting lighter over time. Although the effects aren’t immediate, you really do see the results in a couple of weeks! I’ve recommended it to family and friends who have dark spots, and they all love it. I’m definitely going to be trying more products from them!

  • I can swear by this product. Holy grail. My hyperpigmentation has reduced and I am so excited to see the progress everytime. Don’t walk .Run and get it

  • I've been using Faded very sparingly for a few months and I love it. I couldn't see myself using it everyday as it has a pretty medicinal scent, but when I'm really having trouble fading a dark spot, it's the first product I reach for.

  • Love the eye masks! They feel really great under the eye and feel like they’ve made a difference for puffiness!

  • Their products have dried my skin out a lot more than usual, but I have seen results. The downside is the smell, I just have tried to get passed it and can not.

  • I am obsessed with the like butter moisturizing spray, and faded serum, it’s soo good and has completely fixed and changed my skin, I’m obsessed with just visiting there website to see what’s new

    Feedback

The like faded serum smells so bad, the formula makes up for it but it needs to change
