Reviews mention

  • Creamy, indulgent texture
  • Inventive, nostalgic flavors
  • Ethical, transparent sourcing
  • Vibrant, giftable packaging
  • Thick, hard-to-break bars
  • Irregular, awkward segments
  • Some dark bars overly sweet

Tony’s Chocolonely earns strong reviews for rich, creamy chocolate and inventive flavors like Milk Caramel Sea Salt, Pretzel Toffee, and White Raspberry Popping Candy, while its fair-trade, anti-slavery mission resonates. Reviews also flag drawbacks: bars are very thick with irregular break lines that are hard to portion, some dark varieties run too sweet or chalky, and concerns appear about heavy metals in certain dark bars.

  • Found this at my local supermarket and the packaging got me at the checkout! Thought it was a little bit expensive but gave it a shot and loved it, definitely won't be buying plain old Cadbury anymore.

  • I love the mission of the brand and I love their chocolate. Best flavor is probably the dark milk chocolate with it without pretzel

  • I wasn’t impressed with this chocolate bar. I was excited to try it but the flavor wasn’t anything special, kinda bleh. It’s edible but I wouldn’t purchase again.

  • This is my favorite chocolate in the world, can't say anything more! Sooo tasty, and rich in flavor and the packaging is so iconic. 10/10

  • I really like this chocolate! And it's also so good for the world. Their mission is more important than anything and they stand up for it. And fair trade too, they have my respect.

  • Sustainable chocolate, creative packaging, delicious product. Love everything about them.

  • Delicious chocolate made even better knowing there is no slavery used to make it. It is more expensive than other chocolates out there, but it's worth it for their employees to pay a living wage to all employees from the farmers to the producers. They make a lot of great flavor combinations and have recently branched into working with other brands like Ben & Jerry to expand their offerings.

  • Oh my god! Tony's chocolate is honestly the best chocolate ever! It is a little overpriced for the amount you get but it makes an amazing treat for the whole family from time to time! We love all the flavours are available, altho our favourite is milk caramel sea salt, and we can't wait to see the future flavours that are released!

  • I like this brand of chocolate. They have a lot of specific favors that you could not find from other brands. I love the milk caramel sea salt and white raspberry popping candy.

  • Really good chocolate, I loved the toffee sea salt. It’s not super rich and it has a high quality chocolate flavor that ranks this chocolate high in my list

  • This is a unique flavor that tastes amazing. The chocolate is smooth and the popping candy is delightful.

  • Loved the product - hard to bite into! Extremely rich. Would buy again. Cute packaging. Amazing melted on strawberries.

  • So good! I included some in teacher gifts at the end of last year and this fall a few of them made a point to tell me how good it was. The only downside is that it so tasty, it will be gone before you know it!

  • Hands down one of the best chocolate bars. HIGH quality, tastes amazing, fun flavors.

  • This chocolate is quality! Its soo tasty and a lot of it. I can eat this candy bar over many servings.

  • I love Tony’s Chocolonley. I actually got to visit their main Store in the Netherlands a few years back. I am a big big fan of all their flavors and the quality of chocolate. 10/10 would recommend.

  • Wonderful flavors and a great cause! A truthful brand that has the taste to match the mission!

  • This is my family’s favorite milk chocolate bar. It’s delicious and the perfect size for sharing.
