I really enjoy these snacks! They come in small enough sizes that I'm able to stash a bag in my car or in my bag if I'll be out for most of the day.
Feedback
Soo expensive for what you get.

My kid LOVED the apricot (it got stuck in my teeth alot). But I was definitely not a fan of the kiwi as the fuzzy skin on the outside was still on it — that texture personally didn’t work for me

Maybe I got a bad batch? My husband bought two of the 3-oz bags of your DRIED APRICOTS. We were intrigued by the helpful philosophy of reducing the appaling food wastage in our agricultural system. BUT --- the APRICOTS we got just aren't worth it. They don't smell appetizing and they don't have the juicy apricot taste I expect from dried apricots. Looks aren't everything, but the taste is critical. Too expensive to throw out, but not good enough to eat. This was a FAIL for us both.

The plastic packaging seems like it harms the environment more than the wasted dried fruit would. The packaging is recyclable, but only 9% of things that put in the recycling bin actually end up recycled, so I don't think it is worth the food waste savings to produce more plastic. The food waste can decompose, the plastic can't. Additionally, while they do taste as good as typical dried fruit, it isn't worth the price. They have less product and cost more than typical dried fruit. Typically with defective product or things that simply don't look as nice (like the discount fruit bin at most supermarkets) the price goes down. This brand has increased the price. Overall, I don't think this product is very good for the environment or your wallet, and would not recommend it.

In their own words
The Ugly Company is a 100% Upcycled dried fruit company, founded by Ben Moore, a fourth generation farmer in Kingsburg, Ca. His witnessing of hundreds of thousands of perfectly edible fruit being discarded started the mission of Upcycling fruit. Fruit is discarded due to imperfections such as size, scratches, or being too ripe for market. Now, The Ugly Company prevents imperfect produce from going to waste by Upcycling it into delicious, all natural, vegan, healthy dried fruit snacks. We never add any preservatives or additives to our dried fruit.
