I've been using The Ordinary products for about 1.5 years. I'm pretty religious about my routine with 4 of their products: The vitamin C, the Hyaluronic Acid serum, The Buffet serum and the toner. (I LOVE the Hyaluronic.) I attribute it to the balance of my skin tone/texutre and attribute the cost to the balance of my bank account :) Honestly, I don't know how they get away with such low prices. They could raise them by $10 and I'd still buy it.

The Ordinary does a great job of making skincare accessible. I really like some of their acids like AHA/BHA mask, however I didn’t notice much of an impact from the azelic acid and didn’t like the texture of it much. The good thing at this price point is you aren’t putting too much on the line if you want to explore a new type of product.

I appreciate how clear and straightforward the ingredients are, and there is a consistency of products throughout. The retinoid and lactic acid are specifically well formulated and I've seen effective change during their use.

It is what it says - functional and affordable. If you like doing your skincare for the experience, you might want to check out other options. If you are starting out on building up a skincare routine and want to stick to the basics (with sleek packaging) - this might work for you!

Good quality at a low price.

I love every product I have tried from the Ordinary. I have seen gradual results from all of their products. I have been using their products for about 7 months now and there is a clear difference in my skin. The caffeine solution has brightened my under-eye area and makes me look so much happier.

Amazing brand best for acne prone skin

My skin has never felt better. I use a 5 step routine all comprised of The Ordinary product from face wash to moisturizer. I could not be more impressed especially for the price.

It is an overall effective and affordable product. I had serums from them and worked for a while then it didnt. I liked it in the beginning but it seems like it was doing more damage than helping with my skin because it felt like a concentrated product.

Absolutely love this brand! I’ve tried a few products that include the glycolic acid toner, BHA+AHA chemical face mask, and the salicylic acid. But I have three favourite staples that are apart of my daily skin care routine! This includes the Squalane cleanser, caffeine serum, and the Niacinimide. These products have overall improved my skin and I love their transparency with ingredients!

Skincare enthusiast here! For background, I have fairly normal/oily-leaning, acne prone skin. I’ve tried a couple products by TO: Hyaluronic Acid Serum, Caffeine Serum, AHA + BHA Peel. They are well formulated, although fairly basic. This could either be a pro or a con for you depending on your preferences when it comes to skincare. If you just need one focused ingredient in a serum, TO probably has it; if you want something with a blend of actives look elsewhere. I don’t mind trying new products from this brand as they are some of the lowest priced on the market, so even if I don’t love something it’s not a huge loss, ya know? I found the textures of both serums to be a bit sticky; the hyaluronic acid was too sticky for me to continue using it, although when using the Caffeine serum under my eyes diligently I did notice a bit of a brighter look. The peel is good but it’s very easy to use too much/too long/too often, as is the same for any high-strength acid peel. This one happens to be one of the most accessible and popular due to looking like blood which *is* pretty cool. I find the name to be pretty fitting - Ordinary, neither good nor bad. I’m stuck on whether or not I’d recommend this brand unless you know what you are getting into and aren’t expecting miracle results. But for the price? Worth a try anyway, and you might find something you like, however I have yet to use something that I’ve repurchased.
