My dog had been eating frozen fresh food from another company and loved it. We decided to try this but it immediately started giving him diarrhea and he would have to poop every two hours, day and night. Every time! I dont know what is in this food but it feels VERY VERY greasy and oily. For the money spent your better off hiring a chef to cook your dogs meal once a week

Our dogs, Betty and Maggie, are our family. And like all family members, we want the best for them. Farmer's Dog fills the bill. We thought that Maggie was checking out. With old age and hip displacia, she needed help. After a few weeks of Farmer's Dog, we saw her chase a few squirrels. The only change was Farmer's Dog. My eyes tear up when I think about the smile she had on her face. Betty loves the food. Giving our family the best is really all that matters in our lives. Farmer's Dog is the BEST. Thank You!

My Shih Tzu developed cancer and had a heart murmur. Even though I knew she didn’t have much longer to live I wanted to get her a on better diet so I ordered The Farmers Dog. While my order was in transit my Shih Tzu past away. I call The Farmers Dog to inform them of what happened. They couldn’t have been More sympathetic to my situation. They inform me that they were going to credit me the cost of the meals and asked if I would donate the meals to someone. I definitely did that. To top it off a week later I got a condolences letter and a Plant to honor my dog. THIS COMPANY IS AMAZING!!

My biggest complaints about this dog food, other than my dog eventually wouldn’t eat it, are the smell - the stench is disgusting and made my refrigerator revolting - and the mess - it comes in plastic bags that are not resealable, and it’s very difficult to get the food out of the bag. Squeezing out half a bag per meal always ended up with a good bit of stink on my hands. For the price that they charge, I would think the food would come in resealable airtight containers to make it easier to serve and store. We tried Farmers Dog for several months. I was hopeful that he the benefits promised would come to fruition, but he did not lose weight, and he did not seem healthier.

Great product, but the packaging is HORRIBLE! Messy and wasteful and difficult -- truly annoying. Farmers Dog, if you're reading this, please fix it! How about disposable tubs that we can scoop out food with a spoon?

Complete garbage company, be aware, first my dog hated the gewy gargbage food. Before you can even figure out that the stuff is garbage they charge you for the next order and say they can't stop it. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE

Been using Farmer's Dog for months. Quality of food is fine. Packaging is a messy affair given that a lot of the product is wasted due to poor choice of packaging. That's tolerable, however. MAIN ISSUE/GRIPE: Food arrives late all too often, sometimes one meal late, sometimes one day late, this last time five days late! Each time I call and they apologize. Yet, each time it happens again, all too often. Quality control is piss poor with this company. I will be canceling and I suggest you seek a more responsible food provider when choosing for your dog. Really, I have never seen anything like this.

Our dogs love the food. I can live with the significant cost. My problem is the packaging. One bag contains 8 meals for our small dog. There is no possible way to portion out the 1/8 fraction of the bag without getting the food on your hands. It’s really goopy and really messy. If you cut the bags in half as suggested, then your scissor blades have food goop on them now too. There must be a better way to package - individual recyclable portion bags, like baby food squeeze pouches? Recyclable plastic container which would allow food to be spooned out? For the prices we pay, no one wants to coat their hands, the package, the scissors and the bag clips in wet dog food.

I recently tried this brand after I got a dog, and my dog doesn’t care if it’s fancy food or kibble from a bag. I asked my vet and they said that there’s no additional nutritional benefits that are better than feeding just kibble. I just make extra chicken every weekend and freeze it in the freezer for my dog to eat throughout the week. And it saves me a lot more money.

I gotten it just to try to see what it would be like for my first time to be delivered fresh dog food and if it was at all aceptable in all categories like temperature, price, packaging and of course would my dogs like it. It was all exciting and yes all was awesome. My package came impeccable and food was excellent .

My dog loves farmers dog and we have been using for 6-months now. The packaging is great and they have found a way to make sure the product remains frozen and cold in transport. Love knowing what is in my 7-year old dogs food. She has more energy!

Our dog Lucca loves the food, but beyond that, she doesn't have bad doggy breath and her overall health and weight is consistent and strong. You don't have to worry about replenishing food when it's running low, because your new box of food arrives just in time!
