The Bear and the Rat dog treats are generally well-received by dogs. They are especially loved for their simple and wholesome ingredients, probiotic content, and the joy they bring to dogs, particularly in hot weather. However, the high cost of the product and the need for freezer storage, which could be inconvenient for some, are points of criticism. It is also noted that not all dogs take to the treats, showing some pickiness towards them.

My pup loved this frozen treat! He was a little skeptical at first, but it took him no time to devour it. Make sure you keep an eye on your pup so the container won't get eaten along with it.

Thanks for trying us out, Janet!!! Good point! And just so you know: the cups are compostable (not plastic) and we use soy based ink on the cups in case there is a curious dog about the packaging, lol. Have a great one!

I got an active pup so I am always finding ways to keep her busy to tire her out. Slowly eating her ice cream is perfect for this. She likes to sun bathe in our backyard so I will grab one from the freezer and let her go to town.

I liked the size of these treats and definitely the convenience factor. Although I cannot attest to the taste, they were very popular with my dogs. They really woofed them down!!

My 9 year old pit/lab mix, Kermit, lost his appetite after being diagnosed with cancer, but he always has an appetite for Bear & Rats ice cream cups! So glad we randomly tried these, now they are a staple in our freezer. I also had the pleasure of communicating with the co-owner, Matt, who was absolutely wonderful. Good people making good products is the vibe I get.

Right away when I brought this home my dog was very curious to try it. He ate it right up and licked it clean. My dog definitely approves! I love that it’s convenient and good ingredients that are safe for dogs. The packaging is also adorable. A great summer treat!

We just adopted a dog a couple months ago so I was so excited to see this sweet treat offered! I found this at Whole Foods in the frozen dessert space, so don't be deterred if you don't find it in the pets area. My dog immediately carried this to another room to eat and cooled down from a very warm day of playing!

I bought the banana and peanut butter frozen dog treats. My dogs immediately dove into them and clearly enjoyed them. The treats are a bit pricey but I like that they're simple ingredients.

Thank you so much for this awesome review, Lara & for trying us out. We're a husband and wife team and working to do all we can to lower the cost. We do put another pet product's clinically trialed and tested prebiotics and digestive enzymes in the product so it's superior to any of the other frozen dog treats around. Really appreciate your support!!

The pups really enjoyed these. I bought them both flavors, and they both loved each. The only thing is that they are obviously frozen and with limited freezer space most of the time, it would make them difficult to store on a regular basis.

Thanks for trying us out! One way to make more space is to take the cups out of the box as it will save some room! Appreciate your support.

my dogs LOVE these! it has been unbearably hot where i live and one of the dogs is a husky that needs some sort of stimulation. i use these for training and he becomes the absolute best boy and listens to everything i say. he (finn) likes these so much, he will take the carton and lick all the bits left behind, even if there is nothing there.
My fur baby DROOL when I eat ice cream but, of course, it's not good for them. When I found Bear and the Rat I was so excited that this I CAN give them! I let it thaw awhile, then I scoop my ice cream, and we all "share" a cool, sweet treat together. And THEY don't know the difference! You bet I will be buying this again.

My Dog is a huge fan of the pupaccinos that they offer at Starbucks, so I had very high hopes for these Frozen Yogurt Dog Treats from The Bear and The Rat. And just as I expected my little guy absolutely loved these on a hot summer day. I could hardly put the container down and it was devoured. It honestly is so much fun seeing how excited and happy these little treats make her. For that alone, I will be purchasing this treat option again even though it isn’t really great for my budget!

Just gave my fur babies a treat from The Bear & The Rat, and they went wild! Their frozen yogurt treats are not only delicious but also packed with natural, tummy-friendly ingredients. Obviously I haven't ate it myself, but my border collie Louie was a big fan. Devoured the stuff.

The Bear and The Rat frozen yogurt dog treats have been a game-changer for my pup! My dog, Skye, has a sensitive stomach, and finding treats that don't upset her has been a challenge. These treats are not only delicious (based on Skye's enthusiastic reaction), but they're also gentle on her tummy. The ingredients are simple and wholesome, which gives me peace of mind. I also love that they're probiotic, supporting her digestive health. Skye gets so excited whenever she hears the freezer door open now! Highly recommend for any dog owners looking for a healthy, tasty treat option!
