Sometimes Temu is hit and miss. I noticed there have been a lot of changes since the whole Tariff change in the United States where almost all the products advertised showed they were being sold Locally and you would need to spend a certain amount from that “Local shop” in order to get free shipping. I did purchase a Water Flosser from a “Local” seller and they shipped very quickly. A few weeks later I received the rest of my order that was packaged together (like I’ve received in the past from Temu orders). There was only 1 item that I needed to return because it was not the same size as advertised on the site. The return process is very easy and quick. I opted to request a full refund for that item and only needed to upload a photo of the item and a few seconds later I had an alert that the refund already it hit my account without needing to send the item back. Everything else was good quality. I ordered a hummingbird feeder that can suction onto my patio door and is great quality (I purchased the same one 2 years ago and is the same one and same quality). I also really liked the metal “toothpaste squeezer / paint tube wrinkler” it easily twists product to the top without needing to wrap around a ‘key.’

The quality isn’t very good overall. While not everything is bad, most of the products have an unpleasant smell and feel cheaply made. Some items are acceptable for the price, but I wouldn’t rely on this shop for consistent quality.

Temu is all about knowing your trade-offs. I use it for unbeatable prices on fun low-stakes items in my home. The shipping times are long (1-2 weeks), but for the price, it’s usually worth it. And they do honor their promise to give you some money back if the shipment is delayed.

I have come to realize these are usually the same products sold by Amazon. Shipping just takes longer but is worth the savings if you can plan ahead. I would prefer to shop and not have to spin or water things. Be sure you check size conversion.
