Supergoop! earns largely positive reviews for face and body SPF that feels lightweight, leaves no white cast, and layers well under makeup—standouts include Unseen Sunscreen, Glow Screen, PLAY lotion, and Glow Stick. Reviews also flag drawbacks: some formulas feel oily or silicone-heavy, can pill or sting eyes, trigger breakouts, separate in the tube, have unpleasant taste/scent (lip products), and several users question ingredient choices and overall efficacy; many find it pricey.

Really love that I can use this on my face and not break out. It smells good and features ingredients that you can feel good about putting on your skin.

After awhile the sunscreen separated creating an oily lotion. Have to really shake it up in order to get back to original formula.
The sunscreen line is the best! Doesn’t make my skin breakout and feels likes it’s not even there.
I've really loved every product I've tried from them (face sunscreen only), including: glow screen, matte screen, unseen sunscreen, and every face. I am on the hunt for cheaper alternatives because I live in Hawaii and use so much sunscreen daily (Supergoop is SO expensive), but until I find it, I'll keep buying. One downside (that is a big one for me): the packaging. The color: It's white, which looks luxe, but quickly becomes tinted with the color of the sunscreen (in the case of matte and glow screen). I hate this! It's also really hard to get the last 1/5 of the product out of the tube.

The packaging - please make it better!!

The sunscreen is awesome. I understand why people pay for it! It's not sticky, not greasy, did not leave a white cast and left my skin feeling moisturized.

It's expensive!
Their unseen sunscreen is amazing! I wear it everyday and it makes my skin look amazing! There is no white cast and doesn’t have that overpowering sunscreen smell to it!
Love the texture of the unseen sunscreen. It works perfectly as a primer and doesn't leave a greasy residue.

The application of supergoop is awesome but it is not effective sun protection. I've gotten sunburned many times with supergoop on and I tested on a UV strip and it was not effective at all.

I feel like super goop is almost too good? It feels like you’re not wearing sunscreen at all which I want to love but the sun protection is just not good enough. I’ve only tried their chemical sunscreens so their mineral line may be better for protection. Good to know that with a chemical sunscreen, protection does not start immediately and unfortunately some of the best sun protection does not have an invisible look and lightweight feel.

Better sun protection.
I swear by my unseen sunscreen. I think it’s a revolutionary product and formula perfect for NYC summer
I've purchased two bottles of the Unseen Sunscreen and a jumbo container of the Play over the last year and won't be repurchasing. Play is VERY greasy, and I felt like my skin was still burning through the Unseen Sunscreen despite multiple re-applications. Love the packaging and marketing strategy but the products aren't a match for me.

Product greasiness and SPF efficacy felt like they could be improved to me!

I like the mineral formulations, particularly the under eye, everyday lotion, and glow oil.

I wish the brand provided more information about mixing mineral and chemical products, because I've learned it reduces efficacy of both.
Love the unseen sunscreen and body sunscreen lotion. Has none of the harsh chemicals like some of the sunscreens at the drug store.
The only sunscreen I'll use is their city sunscreen. I love the way it makes me glow. The bottle lasts a long time as well.
I have their spray face mist and can’t live without it. I use retinol and am constantly worried about sun damage when I’m out - the face most is small enough to pack in my purse and use when out

It’s a little hard to get - maybe putting in more stores
Really like the glowing sunscreen! It helps prep my skin for makeup and got a nice sheer tint ❤️
Supergoop is my go-to brand for sunscreen! The unseen sunscreen provides a sheer sunscreen that is not too white and cakie but still fully protects you from the sun. The play sunscreen is super easy to rub in and provides very good coverage.
My skin is very dry and sensitive and supergoop felt amazing on it! Love it loads!
I've used the SPF 50 oil, Glowscreen (for face) and a few other products. I've always found them to go on smoothly, protect well (I've never burned with regular application) and smell either neutral or nice. I like this brand a lot!

This is nothing to do with the brand itself, but I've found some "knockoff" products that offer comparable results. It makes it harder for me to justify paying $36 for the Glow Oil, for example, when a brand at a supermarket is $12 for a larger size.
I've tried a few of their sunscreens, and some of the products are better than others. I find when I use the supergoop unseen sunscreen I tend to burn a little bit, some products def work better than others, but overall all of the products are still goof!

More affordable options!
Love the glowscreen! Works great as a tinted mosturizer and spf!

Could offer in different shades/coverage.
