Supergoop! earns largely positive reviews for wearable, no–white-cast SPF formulas that double as makeup primers—Unseen Sunscreen and Glow Screen frequently impress for smooth, lightweight application and everyday protection—yet some reviewers report greasiness, pilling, breakouts, or separation and question efficacy versus cheaper dupes. Reviews highlight inclusive, matte-to-glowy finishes, easy reapplication formats (sprays, sticks, powders), and family-friendly PLAY, while noting product-inherent drawbacks like oily feel, chemical scent or eye sting, heavy shine from Glow products, limited shade range in tints, and occasional packaging clogs or leaks.

Overall I have loved all products that I’ve tried (Unseen, Glowscreen, and CC Cream). I think they describe/sell their formulas well and truthfully. I wish it was more affordable but that’s my only gripe with the company so far. They confirmed they don’t test on animals and that their ingredients are sourced ethically, including mica which has ties to child labour. I use the Unseen EVERY day, I’m on my third tube now. It’s the same consistency as a silicone-y makeup primer so you can wear it alone or under makeup. Has never made me break out and is great to wear over my existing moisturizer because it doesn’t add extra moisture- since I’m someone that’s on the oilier side that’s exactly what I’m looking for. Glowscreen is great for people wanting more of a dewy look but since I’m more oily I can’t wear this on it’s own without looking shiny and greasy. That said, my friend with dry skin loves it and it works GREAT under my makeup. It brightens up my final look and adds much needed sun protection. With this and the Unseen I find that I don’t need to wait for the sunscreen to sink in before applying makeup like I typically would with a cream/lotion SPF. The CC Cream has been good to me during cold Boston winters but I probably wouldn’t buy it again because it left me feeling a bit shiny. Might be great for people with dry skin. That said it wasn’t bad (I still will finish the tube) it’s just not as versatile as I’d like it to be.

These products are expensive which makes them out of reach for many customers. I have found (like many others) that it’s REALLY hard to find a good, affordable, drugstore sunscreen for everyday use, so SPF is something I do splurge on since it’s so important. If they could make their prices a little more competitive with the drugstore products I think Supergoop would be a 6 star brand for me, especially since they are pretty easy to find in stores and online.

I really love their sunscreen - it's silicon-y so it doesn't feel heavy or leave a white cast, which is really important for me as a woman of color.

After trying a tonne of suncreams, this is by far my favourite. I use the Play for the body and the glow screen for my face. I am brown so most suncreams leave streak marks on my face — this blends as it should.

Shipping options that aren't third party would be great.

Only sunscreen that does not clog my pores! Love supergoop play!

We always use the Play Everyday Lotion for our entire family. Easiest application of any sunscreen, large format bottle, and moisturizing and non-greasy. Good for kids and adults.
Feedback
Better lock for the pump on the bottle would make traveling with open bottles easier.

The BEST face sunscreen I've ever tried. I use the classic unseen sunscreen for daily wear, and the glow stick whenever I want a quick layer of sun protection without getting any stickiness on my hands.
Feedback
Larger sizes of the unseen sunscreen! Would love to reduce packaging in general. Also the glow stick has a faulty mechanism for pushing (or twisting? not sure what the intention is here) the sunscreen stick up.

Very solid quality, not too oily, and the brand has all of the variations for scenarios you want to protect your skin. A little goes a long way.
Feedback
Less plastic in the packaging, more clear recycling potentials.

I have been a loyal user of Supergoop's products for a few years now and have continued to be impressed by their new launches. Supergoop is clearly on the forefront of innovation and have mastered skin-feel, which not many sunscreen brands have accomplished.
Feedback
I think there's room for some "cleaning" of potentially risky ingredients from their formulas, however I wouldn't want to sacrifice skin-feel or efficacy so being a "clean" brand isn't a make or break for me.

I really love their newest sunscreen and so does my skin. I love that they are so widely available and a “clean” chemical sunscreen.

Have become a big fan of the Supergoop sunscreen - I use the Unseen as a daily face SPF and the Play Everyday Lotion for days when I'm spending extended periods in the sun. The Unseen goes on smooth and I don't notice it's there once it's applied!
Feedback
No feedback on their existing products but would love to see a more waterproof SPF product for extended periods in the pools / waves.

LOVE the unseen sunscreen - it's the only product I've used til date but I adore it. No whitecast, it disappears once blended in and sits wonderfully under makeup. Yet to try to the Unseen Suncreen GLOW but I'm looking forward to checking it out

The Unseen Suncreen feels a little silicone-y sometimes which I don't love

I use the matte mineral sunscreen and it leaves a finish exactly a promised - matte. Does not make my face feel oily and provides a great layer of coverage. I always feel better with it on because it evens out blemishes and helps protect my skin!

My all-time favorite sunscreen. I never go outside without it and Supergoop has an amazing feel on my skin.

Higher SPF product choices,too.

Supergoop is the absolute best when it comes to sunscreen. The invisible sunscreen has the most unique and wonderful feel to it. I love that they have tinted options for when I want a little bit of shimmer without having to put makeup on. Great water resistant options as well.

Nothing to note right now. I love this product.

I generally hate the feel and smell of sunscreen, and this is the best one I’ve found that doesn’t bug me. The sunscreen formula feels like a primer to me, very light, smoothing, and hydrating, and the smell is not very sun-screen heavy at all!

A bigger tube would be nice! I don’t like how much packaging I feel like I’m wasting when I have to rebuy.

The GLOW lotion sunscreen is my absolute favorite to wear under makeup. It reminds me of the Hollywood flawless filter!

Love this product as is, could be cheaper!

I’ve been on the look for an oil sun screen that didn’t stain clothes or smelling like chemicals. So glad I found this brand!

I have gotten suncare and makeup made by Supergoop, and I haven't been failed by the company. The sunscreen protects me while I'm on vacation (no burns as long as you reapply). The smell is not unpleasant or too strong, which makes it an easy choice. The products come in a variety of sizes and application methods.
