Supergoop! earns largely positive reviews for face and body SPF that feels lightweight, leaves no white cast, and layers well under makeup—standouts include Unseen Sunscreen, Glow Screen, PLAY lotion, and Glow Stick. Reviews also flag drawbacks: some formulas feel oily or silicone-heavy, can pill or sting eyes, trigger breakouts, separate in the tube, have unpleasant taste/scent (lip products), and several users question ingredient choices and overall efficacy; many find it pricey.

  • As someone who has very sensitive skin, especially when it comes to face sunscreen, I'm a big fan of the Supergood line of products. My favorite is the Unseen Sunscreen which is clear and has a slick, gel-like consistency that dries down without any stickiness or oily feeling that you often get with sunscreen. It doesn't transfer onto white bathing suits when you start to sweat in the sun, and it is light enough to wear on your face without clogging your pores.

While I do love this product, it is quite expensive for the amount of product you get. A bottle of Unseen Sunscreen will only last me about a weekend in the sun - which is an expensive bottle of sunscreen for just a couple days worth of use.

  • Everyday Lotion absorbs quickly and is easy to apply. I'm a fan of the light and fresh scent. Can be used on face and body.

  • I've only tried a couple of products from SuperGoop but it's hands down my favorite sunscreen. It's so light and adds such a nice glow.

  • Lots of great, easy sunscreens you can throw in your purse.

I think they could unite their sunscreens a bit more -- like, which ones are grab and go and which are to do before you head out? Which are SPF 50 and which may be more intense or less so? Which is a spray versus a tube? I think the branding is a bit all over the place in that respect.

  • Love the unseen sunscreen. Feels very luxury. Something for everyone

They started changing the CC shades which is annoying as I’ve used for years. Can be difficult to find exact products in store.

  • I use the unseen sunscreen everyday! i love the texture and how soft it makes my skin feel, it is light and not matte but also doesn’t make me shiny. I also have acne and i have not found that this sunscreen causes me any breakouts.

  • This sunscreen worked very well. I liked how it felt lightweight and wasn't oily at all.

  • The search for a daily SPF has led me here. This sunscreen is the first I've used that feels like a proper skincare product but still offers good sun protection courtesy of the SPF 50. It goes on light and gets the job done without smelling like old Malibu rum and Myrtle Beach. Also, any non-white person will appreciate that it leaves no white cast.

I feel like I look a little shiny in the face after application, but maybe that's just me.

  • Love the matte non oily finish.

  • This is expensive, but actually worth it. Most “healthy” sun screen is hard to apply but this goes on easily.

  • I tried the Mineral Mattescreen SPF 40. The texture is light and velvety and the tint worked well with my light complexion. It offers some coverage (colorwise) and evened out my skin tone (but not as much as a BB cream might). I never burned my face while using it so I think did the job of protecting me from the sun.

The sunscreen has a thick foam structure, so it doesn't easily slide to the spout but instead sticks to the bottle. The bottle is pliable but retains its form unless you're actively squeezing it, and it has a tiny spout, so it doesn't stand upright. Once you use about half the product, you have to sort of smack the bottle against your hand or the counter with the cap on before using it to get the product in the right place to dispense. Or, you can squeeze around the bottle without the lid on and take the chance of dispensing too much.

  • My favorite sunscreen. Feels super smooth, fills in the pores, and protects.

  • I love Supergoop's consistency in brand + look and feel. In a market that ALL beauty players want to enter, they've managed to find a space among consumers hearts and purchase preferences. Sadly, their products just aren't suitable for my skin type (combination leaning towards oily)

I find that in a humid climate, Supergoop sunscreens tend to feel more oily and stay on top of the skin.

  • Supergoop literally rubs onto your skin like butter...but without any greasyness? it's so light and genuinely comfortable on the skin - I don't feel bad throwing it on breakouts like I often do with other sunscreens.

Price is hard to commit to compared to other brands.

  • Love Unseen Screen for its matte-ifying properties, but I definitely need to moisturize before using it which isn't the case with other SPFs I've used. Glow Screen is the perfect hint of tint for me, and a little goes a long way, which is a nice bonus.

Six months ago I would have said larger sizes, but SuperGoop! must have heard this from others—now I exclusively purchase the 1.4 oz. size.

  • I use Unseen Sunscreen every single day and love it - no whitecast, absorbs quickly, and keeps my skin hydrated and protected!

    Feedback

The cost is a bit off-putting but I'm always happy to pay for quality.

  • I've tried so many facial sunscreens and as far as the non K-beauty ones go, Supergoop is the best! Easy to apply, creates a mattifying effect, wears nicely under makeup. Would repurchase the Unseen Sunscreen.

    Feedback

Slightly oilier than I'm used to compared to other sunscreens.

  • I’ve been using the glow stick sunscreen for about two years now and love it! The glow stick is easy to use and perfect for traveling. During the summer I carry it around and reapply on my face, shoulders and arms. It doesn’t have a scent, which I like and is dewy. I don’t think it’s best for oily skin though! I have combination skin.
