Reviews mention

  • Velvety, invisible finish
  • Makeup-friendly primer texture
  • Inclusive, no white cast
  • Lightweight, elegant formulas
  • Occasional oily residue
  • Chemical scent or eye sting
  • Tinted shade range limitations
  • Packaging clogs or separation

Supergoop! earns largely positive reviews for wearable, no–white-cast SPF formulas that double as makeup primers—Unseen Sunscreen and Glow Screen frequently impress for smooth, lightweight application and everyday protection—yet some reviewers report greasiness, pilling, breakouts, or separation and question efficacy versus cheaper dupes. Reviews highlight inclusive, matte-to-glowy finishes, easy reapplication formats (sprays, sticks, powders), and family-friendly PLAY, while noting product-inherent drawbacks like oily feel, chemical scent or eye sting, heavy shine from Glow products, limited shade range in tints, and occasional packaging clogs or leaks.

  • Love Unseen Screen for its matte-ifying properties, but I definitely need to moisturize before using it which isn't the case with other SPFs I've used. Glow Screen is the perfect hint of tint for me, and a little goes a long way, which is a nice bonus.

Six months ago I would have said larger sizes, but SuperGoop! must have heard this from others—now I exclusively purchase the 1.4 oz. size.

  • I use Unseen Sunscreen every single day and love it - no whitecast, absorbs quickly, and keeps my skin hydrated and protected!

    Feedback

The cost is a bit off-putting but I'm always happy to pay for quality.

  • I've tried so many facial sunscreens and as far as the non K-beauty ones go, Supergoop is the best! Easy to apply, creates a mattifying effect, wears nicely under makeup. Would repurchase the Unseen Sunscreen.

    Feedback

Slightly oilier than I'm used to compared to other sunscreens.

  • I’ve been using the glow stick sunscreen for about two years now and love it! The glow stick is easy to use and perfect for traveling. During the summer I carry it around and reapply on my face, shoulders and arms. It doesn’t have a scent, which I like and is dewy. I don’t think it’s best for oily skin though! I have combination skin.

  • I bought this with really high expectations - it was recommended to me as the best sunscreen for a D2C brand. However, it was oily, 10x worse than my Biore (watery) sunscreens, and just overall made my skin feel gross. It's very overrated.

The formula - to change it from oily to watery.

  • I love this brand. I have dark skin and this is one of the only sunscreens that will truly blend into my dark skin tone and protect me from harmful rays for hours at a time.

    Maybe larger sizes.

  • Love this SPF

  • I love all the Supergoop products. They make it fun to use sunscreen, and my daughters use their products every day too. The GlowScreen is great under makeup.

    Feedback

The price point is a bit steep.

  • It did not leave a white cast on my brown skin, but instead left a nice dewy glow.

    Feedback

I have textured skin so the products deposit in those texture easily and make them more visible.

  • I’m a sunscreen queen who HATES the feel of most sunscreens. I’ve been loyal to supergoop’s unseen sunscreen for years and always have it in my bag (and have never worried once about it leaking or exploding). I can’t count the amount of people I’ve put on it it! Love the smooth, non greasy feel, and the secure top and branding is a bonus. TLDR: works great, doesn't feel gross

It’s more expensive than I would like, and I’m sure this leads me to use a little less each time than I would if I wasn’t worried about running out, but if the price point went down, I would worry about other sacrifices in quality which is a no go on all fronts.

  • Love this sunscreen. So easy to apply for the kiddos 👶🏻

  • Amazing sunscreen! I love the texture of the mineral one. They all work well under makeup and it feels light on the face, dries nicely and does not leave a white cast. But across the board all of them work very well. Just one thing; hoping they will make a spf 50 one for face soon.

    Feedback

    Higher spf for face versions.

  • I’ve only used a trial size of one so I cannot say it about all them but the one I use on my face smells like sunscreen when applying smells like the pool to me and that’s ok.

    Unsure

  • I love the way this feels in my skin. It’s so easy to put on under my makeup! It feels light and typically I hate sunscreen but this is an easy part of my routine.

    Feedback

I would love even higher SPFs!

  • As a redhead, I am well-versed in a myriad of sunscreens! I recently tried the spf 50 body mousse and it saved my shoulder from a certain sunburn.

    Feedback

I did find the formula of the spray sunscreen a little bit greasy, but otherwise, a very big fan.

  • Yes yes yes. This is well worth the money - it feels amazing when applied, didn’t affect my makeup routine, and a little went a long way.

  • I have tried every daily SPF on the market it feels like and finally found my holy grail in Supergoop. For context, I lived in Dubai in extreme heat for years and have normal/oily skin, and could never find an SPF that lasted any amount of time, didn't make me more oily, and worked well under my regular makeup. Enter Supergoop and now I don't leave the house without glow screen. It's so moisturizing that it's replaced my regular moisturizer and foundation.

Would love to see a larger bottle with a pump in Glow Screen with refills. Also adding additional shades for darker complexions!

  • Great non-greasy product!
