Reviews mention

  • Lightweight, invisible application
  • Makeup-friendly primer texture
  • No white cast versatility
  • Innovative, varied formats
  • Occasional oily residue feel
  • Inconsistent formula stability
  • Potential eye sting sensation
  • Silicone-heavy primer texture

Supergoop! earns largely positive reviews for face and body SPF that feels lightweight, leaves no white cast, and layers well under makeup—standouts include Unseen Sunscreen, Glow Screen, PLAY lotion, and Glow Stick. Reviews also flag drawbacks: some formulas feel oily or silicone-heavy, can pill or sting eyes, trigger breakouts, separate in the tube, have unpleasant taste/scent (lip products), and several users question ingredient choices and overall efficacy; many find it pricey.

  • I bought this with really high expectations - it was recommended to me as the best sunscreen for a D2C brand. However, it was oily, 10x worse than my Biore (watery) sunscreens, and just overall made my skin feel gross. It's very overrated.

    Feedback

The formula - to change it from oily to watery.

  • I love this brand. I have dark skin and this is one of the only sunscreens that will truly blend into my dark skin tone and protect me from harmful rays for hours at a time.

    Feedback

    Maybe larger sizes.

  • Love this SPF

    non comedogenic

  • I love all the Supergoop products. They make it fun to use sunscreen, and my daughters use their products every day too. The GlowScreen is great under makeup.

    Feedback

The price point is a bit steep.

  • It did not leave a white cast on my brown skin, but instead left a nice dewy glow.

    Feedback

I have textured skin so the products deposit in those texture easily and make them more visible.

  • I’m a sunscreen queen who HATES the feel of most sunscreens. I’ve been loyal to supergoop’s unseen sunscreen for years and always have it in my bag (and have never worried once about it leaking or exploding). I can’t count the amount of people I’ve put on it it! Love the smooth, non greasy feel, and the secure top and branding is a bonus. TLDR: works great, doesn't feel gross

It’s more expensive than I would like, and I’m sure this leads me to use a little less each time than I would if I wasn’t worried about running out, but if the price point went down, I would worry about other sacrifices in quality which is a no go on all fronts.

  • Love this sunscreen. So easy to apply for the kiddos 👶🏻

  • Amazing sunscreen! I love the texture of the mineral one. They all work well under makeup and it feels light on the face, dries nicely and does not leave a white cast. But across the board all of them work very well. Just one thing; hoping they will make a spf 50 one for face soon.

    Feedback

    Higher spf for face versions.

  • I’ve only used a trial size of one so I cannot say it about all them but the one I use on my face smells like sunscreen when applying smells like the pool to me and that’s ok.

    Unsure

  • I love the way this feels in my skin. It’s so easy to put on under my makeup! It feels light and typically I hate sunscreen but this is an easy part of my routine.

I would love even higher SPFs!

  • As a redhead, I am well-versed in a myriad of sunscreens! I recently tried the spf 50 body mousse and it saved my shoulder from a certain sunburn.

    Feedback

I did find the formula of the spray sunscreen a little bit greasy, but otherwise, a very big fan.

  • Yes yes yes. This is well worth the money - it feels amazing when applied, didn’t affect my makeup routine, and a little went a long way.

  • I have tried every daily SPF on the market it feels like and finally found my holy grail in Supergoop. For context, I lived in Dubai in extreme heat for years and have normal/oily skin, and could never find an SPF that lasted any amount of time, didn't make me more oily, and worked well under my regular makeup. Enter Supergoop and now I don't leave the house without glow screen. It's so moisturizing that it's replaced my regular moisturizer and foundation.

Would love to see a larger bottle with a pump in Glow Screen with refills. Also adding additional shades for darker complexions!

  • Great non-greasy product!

  • I love the sunscreen. It works well and doesn’t make me feel gross after application. I feel like it’s a good value for the money.

  • I've been using Supergroup for the last few years. Love the lip balm and Mineral Sheer Screen. It leaves a faint white cast at first (it's mineral, so that's to be expected), but if you keep smoothing it out on your skin, it pretty much sinks in. I haven't reacted to it, like I have to chemical sunscreens. Happy to have a more affordable, everyday alternative to my uber-expensive Tatcha sunscreen.

Great product. Keep the mineral screen products coming!

  • I bought a bottle of Supergoop SPF 50 Oil - and it's amazing! It protects my skin from the sun, is safe for my body AND doesn't make my skin look like I was dipped in chalk. Love it and recommend it for everyone!

    Feedback

    Nothing. It's amazing.

  • I love the mattifying face sunscreen I have used it for so long! It disappears into your skin and is a good protector. Only downside is that I don’t see sustainability as important to the company. Would love to see that in the future!

    Feedback

More sustainable practices! Also just a more affordable price point would be great.

  • I purchased the sunscreen serum. It is nice for dry skin and feels like a moisturizing serum, while also providing sun protection. I am more likely to use this everyday as part of my morning routine than more traditional sunscreens. Seems like it would be a good base for makeup as well.

  • I'm a male, and this is the only sunscreen that helped me apply sunscreen regularly. Specifically, I use the "Unseen" version of the product, and I haven't looked back. The sunscreen is light, and you forget that it's on your skin 30 seconds after application. 10/10 would recommend.
