I gave this as a present to my mother and I am so glad I did ! It was easy to use and it gave us the ability to customize to our needs. I was able to see the progress being made and could change out the questions to be more relevant to our family. Creating the book was a simple process. We could pick the cover colour and add a photo. Inserting pictures into the different chapters was also easy and we were advised if it wasn’t a good choice due to resolution. Shipping was fast- I received our order a few days after ordering I was quite happy with the process , the prompts kept us on track and we were advised as to how long we had to complete the book. I learned a few things I never knew about my mom. In the end we had a treasured keepsake for ourselves and future generations.

My daughter gave this to me as a birthday gift. I was somewhat reluctant at first but decided upon reviewing the questions; I thought it would be a nice thing for my children and my siblings to have. I was a little disappointed that a discount was not offered by the number of books I purchased. This is why I only gave you four stars. Overall I enjoyed the experience however.

This was a wonderful Christmas gift from my daughter a year ago. I worked on it 1 year and 3 mos writing, editing, adding more thoughts, more pictures, and more editing. It was quite a walk down memory lane. I relived so much and found myself enveloped in a mixture of emotions. I received my over 300 page book yesterday. It is excellent quality and just beautiful. This is a wonderful legacy that I'm leaving my children and grandchildren.

My parents enjoyed the process. My one star review is about the extra costs that weren't clear up front. I thought I had purchased one copy of the book with the subscription, but then had to pay another $74 CAD upon completion of the book to order it.

I wish I had known of this before, as I would have had both my parents complete their own book. Such a positive experience. I learned so many things about my mom that I never knew before, and I think she enjoyed the trips down memory lane while she was writing her answers to the questions I had. And oh, so many great questions to choose from, or you can make up your own. I have already ordered a second subscription, for myself with my children asking the questions.

I had a wonderful time, reliving and remembering memories on specific topics this past year! Additional time was spent thinking about each presentation, and whether or not to use photos, etc. Of course, you can also create your own topic. I did! I ordered a book for each of our two childrens’ families. The original subscription and book was a gift to me from a granddaughter. Thank you for this wonderful service. I am grateful for the opportunity to share little- or no-known memories. I certainly wish this had been available when my parents were still living. Sincerely.

Absolutely terrific experience. So easy to get a new question each week, modify the question, or even write a story from scratch. Easy to add pictures and just received my book and it is amazing quality!!!

Wow. This was amazing. Both the journey and the outcome. My son gave me Storyworth for Christmas a year ago. It's been a wonderful way to remember and document my life. and to leave my story for my progeny. I'm sure it will be interesting to someone (lol). While I wasn't completely diligent in answering all the questions every week... I did cover close to 50 questions... some very brief, and others more extensive. that resulted in a 200 page book. I loved the flexibility in coming up with my own questions....as some of the questions are pretty corny... the ability to upload photos. .. and the on-going ability to edit and add to your story, the ease and responsiveness working with the platform and the people behind it. The book itself is quite handsome. It makes a great holiday gift. Finally, if I say so myself, I really enjoyed reading my own story. I highly recommend Storyworth. Thank you.

My daughters gave me this as a gift. At first, I didn’t know what to expect but as the weeks went by and I received a new question every week, I began to look forward to them! It made me relive many wonderful moments that took place in my life. In addition, finding pictures of these moments to share with my family, When I finished the final story, it was once again time to review all these beautiful memories. I couldn’t wait for my book to arrive, and was so pleased with the outcome!

From my first word to page 377, Storyworth has captured and presented me with a Masterpiece of my life. The Storyworth subscription process is exceptional. It felt like I was their only customer. Writing this book has brought out memories and emotions I never thought I would experience. Will there be a second book? Stay tuned….

Fantastic. Great binding. The hardcover is well padded, feels good in hand. The text and color images are clear inside. Lovely table of contents. The production and delivery was fast. Overall amazing

I started this project for 2 reasons: 1. I wanted to get my Parents and Grandparents Life Stories all in one place. 2. My oldest daughter wanted me to get started on my Life Story (which I haven't done yet!!) It has been exciting to see it all come together!! The book is great!!! After I saw it I decided that I want to get enough copies so each of my kids can have one!!!!

In general writing a Storyworth book is very rewarding. I'm grateful that my daughter-in-law gave it to me for Christmas a couple of years ago, and wrote the book with my grandchildren firmly in mind. The book came out very acceptably with only one very minor syntax error (mine). I enjoyed the work enough that I am considering a second volume; however, I would not use the question-answer format again. Next time I'll write to my own outline. My main issue with the Storyworth process is lack of control over things that matter to me besides the actual words: layout, font, ability to italicize, and so on. The format is very rigid and inflexible - nothing like basic desktop programs such as Microsoft Publisher. As a result some meaning is lost and there is an excess of white space. On the plus side, Storyworth support personnel were very friendly and helpful (within the limits of the program). If you like to write and enjoy creating your own story, this is a very good way to get started, and I do recommend it. Just be prepared to deal with the limitations of the process.

My daughter bought this as a gift for her grandparents for Christmas 2023. My in-laws have such interesting lives and their stories are fascinating. We are particularly lucky because my father-in-law passed away unexpectedly and it would have been devastating to have lost the opportunity to record his life stories. It’s been a lot of work, but we now have a beautiful memento of a dearly loved man. Highly recommend- wish I’d done it for my father.

Excellent way to stroll down memory lane to share stories of your life with family. Totally enjoyed writing each and every story. Most of the pictures were blurry but some were clear. In any case, very happy with my book.

≈Ω I have just received my book and am absolutely delighted with the finished product. I am so pleased with the colour of the cover (pale grey) and my photo on the cover fits in with the colour just perfectly. The quality of the paper used is excellent and the feel of the book is top quality. I can’t wait for my family to see it but they will have to wait for Christmas - presents solved for this year! The whole experience of writing the book was very exciting initially, but then I just had to discipline myself to write at a certain time every week. There was always something to do but although it was always on my mind, it was enjoyable. It was good to be thinking about what else to include in the stories. I think I repeated myself sometimes but I don’t think that matters

Very enjoyable experience writing my stories

I purchased the story worth subscription as a gift to my mom. She enjoyed filling the questions out every week as it gave her a little project to do, and is thrilled with the quality of the book. I would suggest staying more involved than I did throughout the year. Changing questions and editing as you go so that at the end of the year it’s less work. I let too many questions come through that created redundant answers. I would do a few things different but overall we had a great experience.

The final product is impressive and worth the time and effort. The book was a gift from one daughter but after seeing the final copy, I plan on ordering more for my other kids. I highly recommend it but with some caveats: It takes time to respond to the weekly prompts. You and/or the gift recipient must be willing to commit to a weekly slot of time for a year to complete. It takes effort to organize your thoughts and craft a worthy response to the prompt. This is not easy for some people and they may need additional assistance. Consider giving them a question or two to ahead of time to gauge their ability and desire to respond. Using the software is not difficult but requires some degree of computer literacy to edit, add pictures, etc. Consider the comfort and knowledge level of the recipient/writer before gifting. As with most things, you will get out what you put into this experience. I found it rewarding to reminisce and capture those memories - knowing they will be enjoyed by my children and future generations.

Easy weekly questions that can be personalized. Whole process was simple. Very pleased with book. My children are especially happy with the book because they have been asking me to write my life story for years. Storyworth has made it possible.
