Reviews mention

  • Flavor-forward cherry chocolate waffle cone
  • Occasionally soft, pleasing texture
  • Fresher-tasting flavor profile
  • Responsive flavor recommendations assistance
  • Metallic, unpleasant aftertaste reports
  • Overpowering clove gingerbread flavor
  • Excessively strong peppermint notes
  • Allulose causing digestive discomfort

Stars and Honey earns mixed reviews: while some praise fresher-tasting flavors like Cherry Chocolate Waffle Cone and a soft texture, many report off-putting metallic or clove-heavy notes, overly strong peppermint, and a sawdust-like chew. Reviews also flag digestion issues linked to allulose and frequent dissatisfaction with rigid no-returns policies and delayed shipping, making the brand a risky bet despite occasional flavor wins.

  • I like the taste of the bars and my first order was through Amazon. No problem with shipping and updates on expected delivery. My new order was through Stars and Honey own web site. After a week they still haven’t given me a shipping date and are full of excuses. “Usually shipped in 24 hours” is not accurate. Either they have the product or they don’t. Now wondering where it is shipped from. I won’t be order again.

  • RUDICULOUS shipping from this Company. Quick shipping…um, NO!! Customer Service it’s terrible. No call back even after leaving more than a couple messages.

  • Awful taste . Nothing like described online. Caused stomach upset and bloat . DO NOT PURCHASE! I asked for a refund and they said no . Such a waste of my money.

  • Beware: NO RETURNS. You better hope you never make an error ordering this product, because you’ll be out lots of money. These bars are not cheap, which is fine but they should have a more lenient return policy, especially if the package is unopened. I ordered this product without realizing that it contains collagen. As a vegetarian, I cannot eat it. I contacted the customer experience team before the product shipped and was told I just have to keep the product. Now, I’m out over $40 and what do I do with these silly protein bars? Warning: Order at your own financial risk!

  • Pro: Had longest farts I’ve ever had. They do taste good. Con: They use allulose, which made my guts have extreme pain and bloating. As I said, the farts that finally came out were to die for, but the price to pay for it was miserable.

  • Do not waste your money on these bars! They are very expensive and the flavors are not good at all. I purchased the Gingerbread and Peppermint Mocha and both were terrible! The gingerbread was overpowered by the taste of cloves and the peppermint mocha had much too much peppermint. The bars are also not soft and chewy. I tried to give the bars to my coworkers who love protein bars and all did not want any of them because of the odd taste. So disappointing! There are many more cheaper and tastier protein bars on the market.

  • Just placed my first order- very disappointed - the taste was very bland. Contacted customer service who were no help at all. Feel the reviews were misleading. I advise people not to order these.

  • Pretty darn good! The flavor tastes more real than other bars I've tried, somehow a bit fresher. Texture is nice and soft too. I've only tried a few flavors so excited to try more. I reached out to the company for suggestions and they spent quite a bit of time with me figuring out how to get me the best deal so I'm writing this review in appreciation.

  • These babies are damn expensive but dang it if they aren't delicious. The cherry chocolate waffle cone is 🤤 Idk how they read my mind that this is my most favorite flavor profile.

  • Sadly the customer service is awful. One of the bars I tasted I really liked, the other 2 not so much. However, I had a subscription and was excited to try one of their new bars. I edited my cart and hit send. When I received my confirmation email- it was the wrong 3 bars. $100 worth of flavors I did not want. I immediately called the company (on got the voicemail) and I emailed them as well. This was within hours of my order which was also on a Sunday afternoon, I doubt anyone was boxing it up at that exact moment. On Monday. I received an email back stating no changes can be made. Seriously??!!!. I tried to call several more times and only got the voicemail and never a return call. I then saw on line that this exact bait and switch has happened to several other people. There are better bars out there with better customer service. Also, if their business model is this sketchy, I am not sure their ingredients are exactly what they say they are.

  • If I could give less than one star, I would. Buyer beware. I ordered $100 worth of bars that I remembered loving from a couple of years ago. What I received this time was *nothing like the original* — the formula had clearly changed, and the bars were borderline inedible. I reached out to customer service to ask if the formula had changed, only to receive a string of canned, impersonal responses that completely ignored my questions. There was zero care, zero accountability, and zero effort to actually help. To make matters worse, I was under the impression that my auto-ship had been canceled after expressing I’d never order again — only to find a new $100 charge on my card. I immediately contacted the company asking them to hold or refund the order *before it shipped.* They claimed it had “already shipped,” which was untrue. The tracking information wasn’t even created until the next day, and the package sat in their warehouse. Even after pointing that out, they refused to stop shipment or issue a refund. Their final response? *“We don’t accept returns or refunds due to contamination.”* In other words, I’m out $100 for a product I didn’t want and won’t use. This company’s policies and customer service are unethical at best and deceitful at worst. When a company puts profits before people, it always catches up to them. I run a coaching business serving hundreds of clients, and had this been a positive experience, I would have recommended their brand widely — resulting in thousands of dollars in potential sales for them. Instead, they’ve lost not only my business but the trust of anyone I can reach. If you’re considering purchasing from this company, **don’t.** They are not customer-centric, they don’t stand behind their products, and they make it nearly impossible to resolve legitimate issues. This experience was a complete disappointment, and I can only hope others avoid the same mistake.

  • I was disappointed. These bars contain allulose, a sugar substitute. They did not agree with me. When I contacted the company, they refused to give me a refund. Beware! I wish I'd read reviews first.

  • They taste horrible, at least the salted caramel does! Had high expectations but was so disappointed when I ate my first one. Salty with a weird sweet aftertaste combined with a sawdust texture. Just awful.

  • Why oh why am I constantly duped by all the stellar reviews and comments from FB ads? Will I ever learn? It's all fake. The Stars and Honey bars taste no different than the grocery store protein bars. The only difference is the exorbitant price. Same terrible cardboard-like consistency and bland taste. The only real "taste" comes with a horrible after-taste. My daughters also tried them and wanted to vomit. I can't believe people are giving these good reviews. Save your money, these are a complete waste. Into the garbage they go.

  • Ridiculous. Tastes no better than other protein bars out there. Their ingredients are no different than other bars out there. BUT THESE BARS ARE RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. Quite a few protein bar makers out there are trying to capitalize on the sudden push for eating more protein, that has moved from what body builders in the gym have known for years, and has become more mainstream. Shame on all of them for just fleecing us. Same options out there for half the cost, or less.

  • Weird metallic taste, not digesting right. The company seems fake after trying "company" phone number, & Facebook link broken. Trying to get a refund but they are telling me no refund except bad delivery or damaged. Refuting the charge on my credit card. WAY too much money and not good customer service. Do not buy these!

  • AWFUL!!!! They don't allow refunds either, even for unopened boxes. SO expensive, hard, and have a weird aftertaste. Save your money!!
