Solely earns strong reviews for tasting like real fruit and delivering clean, minimal-ingredient snacks that many find delicious—especially the mango, pineapple, and dark-chocolate fruit pairings—yet opinions split on texture and flavor intensity. Reviewers praise the soft, juicy “fruit jerky” and satisfying gummies, but note tooth-sticking chew, occasional fiber/pulp toughness, indistinct flavors like Mango & Guava, and some find the gummies not gummy-like enough.
Solely organic pineapple fruit jerky is exactly what it says: a jerky and contains literally just one thing: pineapple! If you don’t like the texture of dried fruit, then this is not for you. - They are easy to take on the go and to add to a lunchbox.
I tried the fruit jerky, hoping that it would be an easy packable snack. While the flavors were great, I didn’t enjoy the texture. You definitely get the mouth feel of the fruit fibers/bits, which I didn’t find appealing.
I used to regularly buy the Organic Mango Whole Fruit Gummies for travel because they contained Vitamin C and were easy to take on the go in the convenient little pouches. I guess they switched to just dried mango but there's no Vitamin C anymore and a limited nutrition panel so I don't buy them anymore.
I got the Solely Mango and Guava Fruit Gummies on a whim and they are just okay. The shape of them is reminiscent of a pencil eraser, and for this flavor in particular, there is zero taste of guava. Each bite is pretty small and they get stuck to your teeth. They also are not entirely soft, so you have to really work to chew on these. A serving size is one packet, but I couldn't get through one.
