  • I absolutely love SkinBetter Science. I trust this brand so much because everything is truly science-backed and dermatologist-supported. Every product I’ve tried has been consistently effective, which is rare in skincare. You can tell how much research and intention goes into their formulations. My skin always feels healthier, more balanced, and more refined when I use their products. It’s one of those brands that actually delivers real results, not just good marketing.

  • My dermatologist recommended this product as an easier on my (sensitive) skin start to using a retinol. While I did notice some dryness, it was not nearly as severe as what I experienced when using a prescription retinol. The product works as advertised! Eventually I did work my way up to tolerating a standard prescription tret, mostly because of the significant difference in price between the two.

  • I deal with rosacea and found this product helps a ton. I had gotten the sample size and it lasted me a long time so I plan on proceeding with a larger size! They also run frequent deals on other med spa sites too

  • Skin Better Science offers an expensive line of quality skincare. It was recommended to us by a medspa. The products work good but overall I prefer seeing a dermatologist. It’s a few hundred dollars per set so it just depends if it’s in your price range.

  • I'm absolutely hooked on this brand for skincare! I'm in my late 30's and have battled cystic acne, scarring, texture, large pores, and combination skin for decades, so when a dermatologist recommended I try "medical-grade skincare," I thought I'd give it a shot. This brand is also only available through a dermatologist or med spa (you can order online through a provided login), it's not on retail shelves. I opted to purchase the travel-size bottles of some of their core products at first because this brand is pricey. I started with the below, and my derm was also kind enough to supply me many packets of samples. - The Alto Defense is a twice-a-day serum (it's a tan/brown color and light, slippery to the feel) is great for calming the skin and repairing it. It helped with irritation and scars. - The EyeMax is also recommended to use twice-a-day and helped brighten, tighten, and smooth out under my eyes, crow's feet, and eyelid. - The retinol is only used at night and is effective to restore skin barrier and combat fine lines and wrinkles—it's also safe to use while pregnant. While I'll say again that this brand is pricey, I think consumers can pick and choose which products are best suited to their needs. Some things I love about the brand are that they do not follow trends or release new products constantly, they research, test and improve what they have vs. continuously launching, selling, and marketing an already over-saturated and confusing space for women and men. Oh, and they also don't have oddly different colored products for men vs. women (e.g. women have pink packaging and men have black). Dermatologists that are actively practicing are also involved in the creation and board. And they work! I've been using various Skinbetter products for 7 months and regularly receive compliments about my skin both with and without make-up. My recommendation is to ask your dermatologist for samples and/or which one product should you try and see for yourself.

  • 100000% worth the price. Not going to lie, the sunscreen is a bit pricey. As a girl who loves my tried and true, cost-effective brands like La Roche-Posay, I cringed a little the first time I bought it. But with so many recs from friends, I had to make the leap, and now I can never go back. The sunscreen is tinted and doubles as the best primer. I notice a huge difference every time I wear it. I ran out for a few weeks, and when I started using it again, my colleague even said, “You’re glowing.” I know it was because I was wearing this sunscreen.

  • It will cost you a small fortune but it’s worth every penny. This stuff works. Stop wasting money on other products and try skin better. You won’t regret it. They also have excellent customer service.

  • I have been using the Alpha-Ret for 1.5 years now and it is such a wonderful product. It has helped my skin with aging and wrinkles. For background, I'm in my 30s with oily-dry combo skin and was having signs of aging and lack of firmness. Using it every night has helped a ton with this. I don’t get botox or any other treatments. It takes about 6 weeks to see results but I would recommend. I am currently on my third bottle as one lasts me roughly 6 months using it nightly.

  • this is the best skincare brand i have EVER used. it is pricey but in my opinion worth it. skincare is an investment and this is a good brand to invest your money in. amazing for anti aging and the only brand, even medical, that has cured my acne! 10/10 but so sad they are discontinuing the oxygen wash it was the only wash i found that helped with breakouts. it's vegan and cruelty free and all their products are moisturizing even the retinols. they really mean it when they say they use science in their products. this brand and ZO Skin helped me so much.
