Scrub Daddy reviews and discussion
Reviews mention
- Temperature-reactive, effective foam
- Odor-resistant, hygienic construction
- Scratch-free, versatile scrubbing
- Clever, ergonomic smile design
- Occasional shedding durability issues
- Bulky, awkward hand fit
- Food-trapping porous texture
- Too soft in hot water
Scrub Daddy earns rave reviews for cleaning performance and versatility, with users replacing traditional sponges thanks to durable scrubbers that don’t smell, adapt firmness with water temperature, and safely tackle everything from nonstick pans to glass stovetops and bathrooms. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some scrubbers shed or tear within weeks, can be too stiff or bulky, struggle with hot‑water scrubbing needs, trap food in pores, and raise sustainability concerns.

Great sponge for washing dishes and it’s cheap
Love using this and gets out the most difficult stains! This is my best friend in the kitchen

Would highly recommend!
Get's the job done. Plus, it looks cute too.
Just buy it. It's incredible. The scrubbing power is truly unmatched - the PERFECT texture for do dishes.

The best sponge out there!
The best sponge I've ever gotten. Super versatile!
Why would I ever use a normal sponge again when we can have the scrub daddy? Its reusable and you can plop it into the dish washer to sanitize it! I’ve thrown around 5+ sponges and my scrub daddy has still stayed put.

Fun design and good marketing, but is only half-decent at actually cleaning dishes.
Never thought I would be so excited about a sponge, but here we are. This thing will clean anything and is so great for scrubbing stubborn dishes. Also I love how its hard when dry, and then becomes SO soft when its wet.

Nothing, keep up the innovation!
I love using the scrub daddy. I feel like it gets all the gunk without being too hard on the dishes. I would say they do last longer than regular sponges but they break down faster if you're washing knives more often.

The scrub mommy is not for us. I feel like I trust the brand a lot so I've been trying different products of theirs but honestly, nothing compares to the OG.
The product does a great job of cleaning without scratching my pans. Plus all the fun shapes and colors are great!

The product seems to degrade faster than a normal sponge.
A very good quality scrub pad with enough size and thickness to use effectively.
The most versatile sponge I've ever used!! Really high quality, works on everything and doesn't leave scratches. Now that I have it I can't use anything else!

Just wish it was at a better price point as I like to replace my sponges often.
Honestly, it's the best out there. Ever since I got my own flat, I've been using Scrub Daddy & I wouldn't go back.

Some things get easily trapped in the product which can be infuriating and potentially ruin the rest of the cleaning use of it.

I love my Scrub Daddy sponge. It’s a bit tricky to work with sometimes, but overall it’s SO much better than normal sponges or brushes.
Makes cleaning a delight. Especially love the wet sponge for baseboards
This sponge is really cool but it doesn’t last too long
The best part of the sponges are the change in texture and consistency with the temperature of the water. Helps in easy cleaning of the utensils.

Great scrubber. Really fun design and works well. Is very long lasting and helps make my cleaning routine more fun.

These just really get the job done. I guess the name and shape are a bit gimmicky, but I can't say anything bad about them. They do a great job of maintaining their "scrubbiness" over time while also holding a decent amount of water/soap. Many sponges with a "scrubby" side just become soft over time, but these don't. They also rinse out really well so that they can be used many times.

I would love to see some variations of the sponge specifically for bathroom cleaning – e.g. a sponge on a long pole for cleaning the shower without breaking my back.
