There's no doubt that Scanpan pans are high quality. Having said that despite that the non-stick coating is already wearing down and getting scratches despite the fact I've tried to be very careful with how I look after it. Maybe the answer is to avoid non-stick in the first place?
I've had different experiences with the three Scanpan products that I own: I'm very happy with my stainless steel frying pan, it does everything I expect from a pan and can really take a beating without issue. My haptIQ saucepan looks great but it has a major design flaw which is that it's impossible to pour from the pan without having it spill everywhere. This product truly feels like a case of design over function – but it does look fantastic. My stainless steel wok is okay, but I feel like it performs better at tasks other than woking. Things stick an awful lot. I use it when I need a bigger pan or for steaming, but for woking I think you'll have an easier time with a well seasoned carbon steel pan.
