Reviews mention

  • Sustained, jitter-free energy
  • Notably improved digestion
  • Surprisingly smooth flavor
  • Versatile, creamy preparations
  • Occasional gritty sediment
  • Earthy, polarizing taste
  • Dissolving can be difficult
  • Finicky resealable packaging

Ryze earns polarized reviews: many say it’s a satisfying coffee and matcha alternative that delivers calm, sustained energy, less bloating, improved digestion, and better sleep (especially the Mushroom Hot Cocoa), while detractors report gritty texture, earthy taste, little to no benefit, and difficulty dissolving. Reviews also praise the smooth, creamy flavor with creamer and versatile prep, but call out subscription complaints and packaging issues (hard-to-reseal bags).

  • I didn't love this, but it may just be that I don't love mushroom coffee. It tasted fine but I just kept gravitating toward other beverage options (coffee, matcha, herbal teas) so I gave the remainder of my package away.

  • My gut loves this stuff! I can definitely tell a difference in my digestive system after a few week of using this.

  • Excellent tasting product and worth buying again. I was satisfied with the quality and flavor, may even be better than what I normally purchase. I would definitely buy this again and will be trying the variety of flavors offered.

  • I love how innovative this product is. Crafting coffee with mushrooms (loaded with health benefits) is so extremely cool. The coffee tastes good, though it is rather bitter.

  • I might start trying to put Ryze in my coffee rather than drink it as a separate drink, but I don't like it on it's own. The powder doesn't mix well in cold water (I prefer an iced drink), and finishing a glass left me still wanting coffee. However, when I posted a review about Ryze on a different platform, they went out of their way to try to have my review removed from the platform, which I found an incredibly deceitful business practice. Not a fan.

  • Coffee Took a little bit to get used to the taste. I normally do not like sugar or flavor in my coffee. I’m adding a teaspoon or so of real maple syrup and a little frothed 1/2 + 1/2 and yum almost cocoa like.

  • Yummy Routine! I first switched to the Mushroom Coffee, then the Chicory! I figured I might like it since I've previously been a Cafe Du Monde person. I love this easy morning drink and also use it as an after dinner treat! It blends smooth and gives me coconut / cocoa vibes. I use it with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and a splash of hazelnut sugar free creamer. I've even weaned myself from adding stevia. It's just delicious and I can't see myself doing daily life without it! Also brought on vacation, no need to bring me to expensive coffee shops!

  • The taste of the coffee is not bad. It does not taste like dirt but it does have grit and residue when you get close to the bottom of your cup. I have not consumed it regularly enough to see a difference in how it makes me feel.

  • I haven’t tried the coffee but I do enjoy the mushroom powdered creamer- it is a little clumpy so you definitely have to stir , but it tastes great! I have an automatic subscription but it was easy to adjust how often I receive it. Overall so far no issues like others have had.

  • I'm giving them this rating not based on the coffee, because it's very good, but on my recent transaction. First, I didn't know the coffee was on auto pay until PayPal was billed. So, I wrote and asked to be removed from auto pay. I received a lonnnng response about the product and how they could better help me. Now, if I tell you once again, I like your product but I no longer want to purchase it. That should BE IT. Take me off of auto pay. They said something about sending another order in September. This is like those sales people in a store. They keep trying to sell the product. I didn't even get back to them. They sent me another order this month. When I wrote about a refund and once again to take me off of auto pay. They said, since they didn't hear from me, after I told them Twice to take me off of auto pay. That's why they sent another order. So, you still got another $36 out of me. 😡

  • ANY PURCHASE PLACES YOU ON A MONTHLY PRODUCT,PLUS SHIPPING FEE.. IT IS HELL TO GET OUT OF.Horrible customer ethics and service.. PRODUCT:? same as the other 7 mushroom combo powders on the market only $$$$ & they add some cocoa to cover the flavor...DON'T GET SUCKED INTO THE HYPE!!

  • I’ve tried a few mushroom drinks. They take a little to adjust to and to find your preferred recipe. I tried the ryze matcha. The matcha flavor is good. I have found it’s important to mix with 12oz of hot water. I then add 1tbsp of creamer and blend well with a hand mixer. I then pour over ice and drink with a straw. This prevents having clumps at the bottom of my cup when done. It’s a satisfying drink that gives a good energy boost with no jitters.

  • This a very luxury flavor, it keep me awake i will keep buying this coffee

  • Besides uplifting beverage mix I absolutely love the flavor when mixed in the warm oat together with chocolate protein powder! Looking forward to every morning because of it

  • I bought this to try to get into adaptogenic mushrooms. The flavor is fine, a weak instant coffee, but the powder is too gritty for my liking.

  • I had a very BAD coffee habit (5-6 cups per day), which caused me to be jittery, and sometimes I could feel my heart race. It didn't help my blood pressure either. I tried Ryze after I read about the mushroom coffee craze. I decided to give it a go. First, the earthiness of the flavor took a little getting used to, but it was, by far, the closest one to coffee. I didn't use their creamer, I used my regular creamer instead. After two weeks, my jitters were gone AND my blood pressure had gone down. I can actually drink one mug of this in the morning, and one more in the afternoon and I can get through my day. It does have half the caffeine of regular coffee. I will admit that after drinking this for a month, I started to crave it when I skipped it. And like others have said, I had to stir it because it will settle on the bottom of my cup like mud. But other than that, and the high price (about $40 per month for 30 servings), I enjoy it. It has the following mushrooms: Cordyceps, Lion's Mane, Reishi, Shiitake, Turkey Tail, and King Trumpet.
