Challenged by his young daughter to make a beverage she could drink from the botanicals and herbs in their Colorado garden, Founder Jamba Dunn created the first-ever low sugar, low acidic, non-alcoholic (<0.5% ABV), caffeine-free Kombucha in 2012.  Today, Rowdy Mermaid is a functional beverage brand offering two distinct product lines:  light, smooth, refreshing Kombucha and delicious Sparkling Tonics with Adaptogens. As for the Rowdy Mermaid name? Let's just say his rambunctious, water-splashing daughter provided the inspiration there too!
