Reviews mention

  • Attractive branded packaging
  • Nutrient-rich seaweed formulation
  • Charming dessert-like presentation
  • Pleasant bite-sized texture
  • Dry, inconsistent texture
  • Underwhelming or soapy flavor
  • Limited shelf-life freshness
  • Flavor profiles skew too sweet

Rootless reviews assert the brand works as a charming, nutrient-forward seaweed bite with consistently praised packaging and some users reporting measurable iodine and iron benefits; however, many reviews call out uneven, often dry or soapy flavors and rapid staling. This helps buyers who value sustainable, whole-food supplements and elegant presentation but warns flavor, texture, and shelf-stability may make it a limited, niche daily choice.

  • It reminds me of many bad health foods of the sixties … I wish they had tried a savory product that has the flavor of nori, instead they try to cover it up with sweet flavors… and 1.40 a piece!!!? Come on! Get real!

Go for a savory… say nori, shrimp or smoked salmon and the price is prohibitive…

  • I was really excited to try these, I got the seaweed and coconut. They weren’t the softest when I got them but after about a week they were incredibly stale. I may try a different flavor.
