I missed the Thingdrop for Quiet Mind earlier in the year even after setting an alarm for 8 AM!! After patiently waiting for the BF sale (which came out to 3x the cost compared to if I were able to get the Thingdrop), I was able to get the small weighted pillow in one of the new color drops! I would 1000% recommend this pillow. Every month, I experience a high level of pain associated with my menstrual cycle (in bed for at least a day). The weight of the pillow really helped better manage the pain while also supporting a consistent breathwork practice and isn't even one of the listed issues for how the pillow can support! I also took this to a recent therapy session and the weight of the pillow is really helpful with somatic practices as well. The portability of the pillow is an added benefit! I honestly can't stop raving about it and only wish the cost was less of a barrier to get more pillows! If it were more affordability, I would definitely recommend these to my clients or keep one in the office for sessions.

I can honestly say that this has been a life-changing product. My weighted pillow has improved my sleep quality immeasurably and I look forward to using it every night. It's also super comfortable to have on my lap when I work on the computer, or when I lounge around the house. I received my pillow as a gift and I am super, super happy with it.

I fell into the weighted blanket craze a few years back, and have not touched or used them since because they’re such a pain to clean and fold. So, I was excited to try this out. From the moment I unboxed it (the packaging is great btw!) I really, really liked it.  It feels nice to hold and have in your lap. It’s like a little baby tbh. Love that the cover comes off so you can wash it- that’s a HUGE plus for me! I like hugging it when I’m just chilling and watching TV, or putting my laptop on top of it on my lap while I get some work done. 

Surprisingly, when I showed my mom and my boyfriend, they didn’t understand how to use it at first. They both thought you’re supposed to lay down and put your head on it, which I mean, you can? But the primary purpose of the pillow is to hug and hold it. I had to teach them that it’s supposed to be used similar to how a weighted blanket would be. Just a surprising moment of product education I found interesting! 

Lastly, I know it’s quite pricey, but I think it’s comparable to what most weighted blankets cost. So I get that. 

In the future I think different shapes would be great! I’d love one that’s more rectangular. 

I have only had this pillow out of the box for about 5 minutes, and Im honestly shocked by how soothing it is to hold it in my arms or on my lap. I was skeptical, but have had good success with managing anxiety and stress with weighted blankets, though that usually ends in a nap due to having to lay down, so the idea of a similar effect that's not a blanket was appealing. 

This pillow is a lovely soothing green color with a cozy almost boucle cover. It appears to be well made but does have a slight chemical odor out of the box (Im sure this will dissipate quickly). 

I do think that the MSRP of $189 is high, and would probably wait for a sale if I wanted to pick one of these up as a gift. 

I'll update in a few weeks/months with info on efficacy during meditation or high-stress moments. 

I didn't expect to love this pillow as much as I instantly did! First off the quality is superior. SO soft and the perfect firmness in my opinion. Love the branding/box it came in. 10/10 unboxing experience. The weight of the pillow was perfect - just the right amount of weight. Would recommend. I'm a fan and user of weighted blankets but I like this better - especially since I run hot. SO good. 

I love this weighted pillow! In the past I have only tried weighted blankets which were nice but had many faults. This pillow has solved all of the blankets issues. This pillow is easy to move and to store, the cover comes off so it can be washed and it has a nice memory foam outside so you don’t feel like you’re just holding a heavy bean bag chair or risking little beads leaking out. This pillow is soothing to hold on my lap while working on my laptop or watching tv.  Overall it’s probably one of my favorite things right now. The only way that it could be better is if the company sold additional covers in other colors/patterns so they could be changed to better match different vibes. 

I love this product! It is the perfect size to cuddle. The weight is so comforting, it feels like you are cuddling with a small child or dog. 

I would like to say I don't think I would ever pay full price for this LOL, - however, if you are in the market for a weighted pillow this is a great one. I think pricing is similar to other weight pillows and blankets. I like this more than a blanket because I tend to get really hot esp at night, so having something just as comforting without the full body coverage is amazing. The pillow is extremely soft and cozy and makes feel better! I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks so having this handy has been great for me. 

I am a weighted blanket person. I sleep with one, and use one on the couch. So when I saw this, I had to try. And I love it! I fell asleep holding it on the couch the first day I got it. 

I love that the cover is washable, I love how soft it is, and I love the weight. It's perfect to put on your lap!

I'd love one a teeny bit flatter, or would love other color options! 

It’s actually so comfy and I use it for completely different sentiments than my weighted blanket. It’s very cooling too so j use it as a leg pillow at night sometimes. Absolutely great purchase

One of the best things I have purchased this year. I own a weighted blanket, but within minutes of laying it on my chest, I started to feel more calm and at ease. than I ever have using one. My fiancé, who works in design, is also a big fan of Quiet Mind's branding, packaging, and the product. The price is a little steep, but it is a great investment if you can afford it.

This pillow is very interesting, it has a similar calming effect to petting a pet. While it may not serve as a complete substitute for Xanax, it does provide a soothing and pleasant effect. The cover is super soft and has a very satisfying texture, while the memory foam interior combined with the weight, "hugs" your body.

However, it can get a little hot when sitting on your lap so I can't use it as long as I'd like. Additionally, the color selection is very specific and just happen to fit my home decor, but I do wish they offered a wider range of cover colors and designs so that I could recommend it to my friends.

Listen- I am 1000% a weighted blanket person. I have 4 of varying weights for like any emergency. So when I was able to snag the Quiet Mind weighted pillow, I had an idea that I would also like it, even if just a little bit. HOWEVER- this exceeded expectations. It came in a fun box so even just opening it was an event! I love the fabric and I LOVE that the cover is removable for easy cleaning. It's not overly heavy so it's definitely not a blanket replacement but it's still substantial and gets the job done. I just wish it was a bit wider since it is a little on the smaller side, size wise. Still worth the buy!

I love this weighted pillow, but I wouldn't say it's necessary—a great alternative to my weighted blanket. I would give it a 4.5, but I'll round it up. I like using it while watching TV lying on my lap as I find it soothing. Also is so soft, but not sure how I should 'style' it on my couch since it doesn't necessarily match but also want it near, but I guess that is a personal problem.

Super high quality build, delightfully soft and reassuringly heavy. My wife absolutely loves and is actually pretty surprised by how much! She never liked weighted blankets for temperature control but finds this pillow perfect for her needs and performs exactly as described. While it might be a luxury item, she feels that it's completely worth it.

If you are into weighted things (blanket, eye mask, etc) you will love this! I don't think it's a substitute for a blanket at night, but it is a great alternative in other situations.  It's weighty, but not too heavy that it's annoying to move it from room to room.  I personally do not like the fabric, so it would be cool if they could offer other cover options in the future.  Until then I'll just buy a cover myself.  It is pricey for a pillow but if weighted blankets work for you, you will probably also like this.

This pillow is surprisingly lovely. The weight distributes well through the pillow and doesn't shift around inside. Wish there were more color variants (or even pillow covers) available but the fabric is soft.

That all being said, I can't imagine buying this at the price it retails for.... especially when Target has weighted stuffed animals for a fraction of the price.

This is a good lap pillow. It’s a little big to sleep with. But I appreciate the pillow to prop me up when watching tv or to sit with on my lap

A-mazing product. It works to helping ground myself in less than a minute. It feels great and looks beautiful too. Customer service was extremely helpful when I had an issue with the courier. Overall, loving it and planning to gift it to friends and family this Christmas.
