Patagonia earns overwhelmingly positive reviews and proves itself a good brand: gear is exceptionally durable, warm, and versatile across activities, with standouts like the Nano Puff, Better Sweater, Synchilla fleeces, Atom Sling, and Black Hole bags. Reviews also flag drawbacks—frequent comments on high pricing, inconsistent or tricky sizing (especially women’s bottoms), occasional fleece pilling and Nano Puff snags, a few wind/waterproof performance gaps, and muted styling for some tastes—making in‑store try‑ons and product selection key.

Great example of a brand living and breathing its mission, with top quality products to back it up! I have a Nano Puff jacket which is super lightweight and packable but somehow still extremely warm, plus a couple of fleeces that hold up super well to washing / sweat / weather.

Patagonia is one of my favorite outdoor gear brands. Their commitment to quality is exemplary and I will always be a loyal shopper!
Great quality and you get what you pay for with their lifetime warranty. A jacket I've owned for 3+ years recently developed a small tear, I brought it to a local store for a repair and since their mail-in repairs are backed up 20+ weeks due to supply chain, they just replaced the item on the spot. Easy breezy.
Everything I own and have purchased from Patagonia has lasted me forever. Great quality and long lasting.

I really love this brand, their clothing and what they stand for. However I did only give 4 stars due to the quality. My $220 nano puff coat snags on things and simple as my purse zipper - and my better sweater is pilly after only 1-2 washes.

Their web site, suggest wrong size for you. Give you length, short ,medium, long,no inch reference to even know which may apply.so you end up with wrong size, because you have to guess.Sabotage, you're own knowledge of size.then you end up with wrong size, and have to return. 100%their fault.Im better off shopping Walmart, less quality, but at least no confusion on picking my size. So Walmart outshines Patagonia. If Walmart made this mistake. Refund, with no return. Patagonia, creates a shit show. Won't ever shop here, ever. REI,NEVER will do this either. Screw you're order up and make costumer jump through hoops.

You can't beat Patagonia!

It’s quite fitting that the brand with the best warrranty in the business is also the brand least likely to make you use their warranty. Patagonia has earned its reputation for field tested, life-ready clothing and accessories. From base layers to jackets, socks to suitcases, and even an Aloha shirt I’ve had for 20+ years, I’ve beat the hell out of my Patagonia gear and it just won’t give up.

I still wear a reversible fleece jacket I bought over 25 years ago. It's not only durable but also timeless in design. This brand's ability to create items that stand the test of time is truly remarkable. In addition to fleece, their bags and down jackets are also long-lasting and incredibly handy.

Recently, I purchased the Patagonia Down Men's Sweater Hoodie from REI here in Olympia, since the weather here has turned into the low thirties, it is my new go to jacket. A very well-constructed jacket fits perfectly and the hood is comfortable. The 100% recycled polyester ripstop with durable water repellent is great for WA, the 800-fill power goose down and handwarmer pockets are great with the elastic cuffs. I would highly recommend you try one on, the jacket is fantastic and practical.

I love the quality I have a Patagonia side bag that I use for everyday use. From single day diaper and wipe holder for the little one, to using it as my purse for my quick shopping around town.

I’ve got one thing, a rash guard. It’s incredible durable and repairable should the need arise. Any store I’ve visited is filled with positivity and they give a sh$t.

I love everything about Patagonia! The look, quality, technicality, fit and since everything is going to charity I'm happy to pay as much as I need.

Hands down my favorite. Patagonia the actual location is dear to me. Save the wildlife.

90% of what I own from Patagonia has been second hand and even then all the products have held up amazingly well. Well made products. I have coats, sweatshirts and boots. All of which are quality made. Would definitely recommend.

Patagonia will last you years! I have a quarter button down, that I have had for over 5 years, and it still looks and feels brand new. Their quality is really unbeatable. I have never been disappointed with anything from them!

Although I wish it was more affordable, it definitely is worth it in the long run. I would only splurge on items you will want to wear over and over again though.

Patagonia has high quality outdoor clothing with cool designs that I believe in some way shows the essence of the beautiful Patagonian region in South America. A plus is all the sustainability aims they have, and I enjoy going to the Patagonia store near Harvard at Cambridge.
