Patagonia Provisions Reviews

4.4

Patagonia Provisions earns mixed-to-positive reviews: the crackers, tinned mussels, sardines, and beef sticks often taste fresh, sturdy, and pairing-friendly, and many trust the brand’s sustainability mission. Reviews also flag drawbacks—several crackers read bland, dry, or softly crisp, cheese flavors can be muted, sodium noted as high, and portions feel skimpy—making the brand appealing for mindful snacking and pantry staples if one accepts occasional flavor subtlety and texture variance.

  • The tinned fishes are not to be missed. The ones I've tried so far, mainly mussels and sardines, have been outstanding in terms of flavor, quality and value. I keep a few of these in the pantry, and am especially excited to try the flavors with beans along with a fresh loaf of bread.

  • I've tried two flavors from this brand. I've loved their Rosemary Garlic crackers since they went by the Moonshot name, and the crackers are still just as good. The Cheddar Cheese flavor is also decent, but the "cheese" flavor in it isn't too strong.

  • The crackers were tender and tasty. The mussels were fine, not quite as savory as I was expecting. At $6.99 each, I feel the products were at least a couple dollars overpriced.

  • I tried the cheddar and rosemary garlic flavor and they were delicious. Neither of the flavors were too overpowering and I'm glad the brand focuses on being sustainable.

In their own words

Why is Patagonia making food? Industrial agriculture depletes soil, poisons water and threatens the outdoor places we love. To help protect the earth, and our future on it, we make delicious, nutritious foods that restore the planet instead.
