I would give these five stars, but the occasionally leaking makes it a four for me. Overall, I love the colors and I like the stare and ship options. We’ve taken them everywhere from school to travel to sports. Great customer service as well.

I jumped on the Owala bandwagon earlier this year because I liked their fun colors and patterns, and was intrigued by the dual straw/chug opening. After some time, though, I've moved away from their FreeSip products because I was getting annoyed having to open the lid every time I wanted to drink (leaving the lid open guaranteed my young kids would knock it over immediately). The bottles themselves are high quality: sturdy and substantial without being too bulky, but Owala recommends hand-washing to preserve the external finish which is too time-consuming for me. (I have put some of my Owalas in the dishwasher and it does occasionally change the look and feel of the external finish.) Also, most sizes do not fit in cup holders, so I don't travel with them much. Owala does a great job releasing fun and unique patterns consistently, so they are fun to collect and give as gifts because everyone (else) loves them!
