Thanks for purchasing and trying our towels. 
We just wanted to clarify the miscommunication regarding the technology bit. The Silver Salt technology is applied to the towels during production, and it helps kill almost 99% of the odor and mildew-causing bacteria. This anti-microbial treatment helps keep the towels fresh longer, reducing the need to wash them as often as regular towels. The technology isn't about quick drying - It pertains to less washing.

You are spot on about the (approximately) 10% lighter towels.  It is a trade-off between drying and plushness (thickness); We went for drying so the wet towels that one carries with them are less heavy. Our bath towels (fingers crossed) would be thicker.

gorgeous perfect beach towel! it's huge and soft and has the coolest design, I can't wait to use it

Super cute design and I love that it's a big towel! So glad I squeezed out one more river day before summer ended and got to take it for a spin. It was a perfect yahtzee-on-the-beach towel. While I do think it's worth the price, I personally wouldn't have sprung for it without Thingdrop. 

I bought the beach towel and was expecting a game changing beach towel. It was fine—perks were the larger size, but that’s about it in having this towel stand out. The design is beautiful and definitely will make you stand out on the beach or if using for a pool chair. I also appreciate the built in loop for hanging. It was great to be able to hang to dry. Even after a few uses, the towel didn’t get that weird musky scent, so I attribute that to the hanging hook. All in all, the towel is nice albeit pricey, so I wouldn’t necessarily splurge on this. 

Love the minimal packaging and design of the product. Unfortunately when it arrived there were already a couple strands loose and I think for the price that shouldn’t be the case. Additionally I think the size of the product makes it perfect for everyday use - especially for the plus size community but also for beach days / picnics etc. I enjoy the sustainability aspect of the product but I think for the price, the quality and softness of the towel should be greater. It feels like most towels you can pick up for a fraction of the price so I wish they leaned a little more into luxury considering the price point.

Towel is super comfy, really cool looking, large, and has nice touches like a center-attached hanging loop and cool orange edging. Really high quality!

Bought the large towel and it's a keeper! No question that it's going to last a good long time and has the soft feel yet durability we'd expect.

The beach/pool towel is larger than a regular one which I love, and the designs are unique. The towel is soft and relatively thin. I'm not typically that price sensitive but I gave it a 4/5 stars only because of the price per towel and I'd want to get 6-8 to keep at home for friends and pool days which adds up.

I got the towel and it was the prefect size, and the pattern was awesome! Would buy again. 

In all fairness I got the thingdrop towel and not a swimsuit, but the towel needs work. It’s big, which is great. Has a sturdy piece to hang the towel from. Colors and patterns, amazing. It’s not the softest towel ever. Granted it is also a beach towel and I use it after showering daily, but it definitely has a different texture. Overall pretty great brand though!

Larger than my other towels but the texture is nothing special I am sorry to say. Nothing wrong with the towel works as it should, the pattern is definitely different than I would normally choose, but the size of the towel is great for the beach so overall good product with a good mission.

I bought a beach towel from a Thingdrop. It's an incredibly thoughtfully designed beach towel - large towel loop for hanging, bluesign antibacterial technology, and larger sized than your average beach towel.
I wouldn't say that it's very soft, but it feels very high quality, densely loomed, and sturdy. I haven't had any pilling or pulling from the towel loops yet. The dense knit also makes it difficult for sand to get through the towel and makes it easy to pack down to a small size. It is also incredibly absorbent.

The packaging/box that it shipped in was so beautiful and included a lovely note. 

I've only tested the beach towel, but based on the quality and thoughtful details of the beach towel alone, I'm sure that the same design ethos is applied to their featured products. Great brand idea, considering it's difficult to make quality swimsuits or even activewear with more biodegradable materials. In general, I prefer to go for biodegradable/natural materials for clothes but I understand that this is one sector that is difficult to compromise in. Also, looking at the size ranges of their swimwear, it goes all the way to 4X, which is great (but obviously should be standard) for a more luxe brand. 

I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking to buy a beach towel and will definitely look to this brand when shopping for swimwear. 

I love this towel, it's huge and cozy and it just looks like a cute blanket if I forget to hang it up after a shower. I would buy exclusively these towels if I could.

Super nice and easy shopping experience. My order was delivered quickly too. Nice packaging and the towel design looked like the photos I saw when ordering. Overall I’m super happy with the product and it will be a great for summer. The only thing I was a little surprised by was it is a little thin. I have a Tekla towel the same size which is much thicker and only a little more expensive so in this price range I would rather buy Tekla I think. Thinner towels do dry quicker though so that could be an advantage.

As noted above, the sizing hasn’t worked out for me perfectly yet.

My OOKIOH suits are so fun and flattering! I have a one-piece and a two-piece. I bought both of them on sale, and probably wouldn’t pay full price, but I’m really happy I have them and continue to seek out suits from the brand. I will say that the first suit (the one piece) is a *little* bit small, which mostly manifests in riding up my butt a little bit (although I guess that almost seems like the point with current swimwear trends), so I sized up in the two-piece, and that one is a little loose around the waist (it’s high waisted). They’re both still wearable, though, and feel like they’ll last a long time!

This rating is JUST for the towel featured on thingdrop -- this brand is mostly swimsuits, etc so I feel like my review is somewhat irrelevant to their core offering.

Towel is a great size and is super comfortable as far as beach towels go. 

This review is for the Galle beach towel only.  I have not had the chance to try their swimsuits, but the Lisbon and Costa one-pieces look super adorable.  The towel itself is a beautifully patterned, large beach towel.  At 40x70", it's slightly larger than the standard beach towel (which I appreciate).  The feel is soft, almost slippery, and thicker than the standard towel I've used before.  What I appreciate about it most is that it looks quality, and the print is unique.  It's September so I haven't had the chance to take it out yet, but will update on how it does on the sand and with sea water once summer rolls around.  Excited to break it out!

I bought the beach towel, so I don't have any reference on their swimwear. The product description reads that it's made from "plush Italian yarns" so I was expecting something soft, but it's really just a typical beach towel texture. Size-wise it seems a little larger than a conventional beach towel which seems great for the beach or the park, no complaints there. However, I'm not sure if it's because the towel is double-sided (the front half and back half are slightly different in the color pattern) but certain colored sections appear two-tone when it seems like it should all be the same color. It still takes the normal amount for a towel to dry, if not slightly longer because of the size, so there's no "special towel technology" or anything. I do like the towel, I think the pattern is unique and aesthetic, but I don't think it's worth the full retail price, and unless you're very invested in the aesthetic, you might be better off getting a beach towel from a company that specializes in them.
