Oatly impresses in reviews for café-worthy performance—its Barista Edition froths reliably and delivers a creamy, smooth texture that elevates coffee, matcha, and lattes—while dividing opinion over formulation. Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. Overall, Oatly is considered a top-tasting, highly consistent oat milk for beverages, but less appealing to buyers prioritizing ultra‑clean ingredients.

Was addicted but cut it! Causes me bloating and has been quoted in reviews as having “unhealthy ingredients.”

Oatly has become a part of my daily life. It enriches the flavour of my coffee and adds a creamy texture. I tried many other oat milks with my coffee but Oatly is by far my favourite.

Don't recommend - their preservatives are blood-sugar boosting / it's actually very bad for you. Would be better to buy an organic oat milk. I also find this one really oily.

Oatly is one of the oat milk brands in the market. I love it, the taste is creamy and rich. I not only drink alone, but will add to tea or coffee. Moreover, it has other flavors, such as vanilla, chocolate, etc.

I found out about this brand while I was interning at a Fashion Agency in Amsterdam, they only drank this one. Since then, I can't get enough and I won't switch to any other milk brand. Great, great, great!

This is my go-to oat milk for morning lattes. It’s the most smooth of all the regular oat milks (not “barista”).

Great tasting oat milk

Love using oatly in my coffee or black tea. It’s creamier and a little sweet so I don’t need to add sweetener. Not quite the same experience as milk for cereal.

Probably the best oat milk on the market. Great for at home coffee, the only milk that froths properly. Its a shame it’s so expensive now

It has a pleasant taste but a little thin or watery for me and I found it taste a little like powdered milk

I do enjoy oatly but I wish it didn't have as much sugar in it. It is also a bit in the pricey side.

Like the original, the low fat is too watery. We put it in everything it’s a great dairy milk substitute.

Tastes great and blends well in my morning coffee. The only reason I gave it a three is because it is not organic.

Great oat milk. Not sure it’s so much better than generic brands to really be worth the extra cost, but it tastes great.

Oatly does it well! I’m especially a fan of their full fat oat milk. Creamy (not watery) consistency and I find it doesn’t separate in coffee the way some oat milks or almond milks do. Also a fan of their ice cream- but only in strawberry so far. A bit of a guar gum taste/texture that’s too overpowering in vanilla and coffee.

Guter Ersatz zur Milch. Schmeckt tatsächlich gut. Sowohl im Müsli als auch im Kaffee. Der Milchersatz ist allerdings sehr teuer. Deshalb nur vier Sterne.

Truly love this oat milk. I love how it’s available everywhere. Went in a trip to a different state and they had Oatly at the market. It’s creamy and smooth.

bad ingredient list, they use seed oils

Have tried so very many milk alternatives recently, and the Full Fat Oatly was my go-to for a while UNTIL I realized I was drinking canola oil :( I researched and realized the nonfat Oatly is free of oils, so now we do still purchase that version in particular. Makes a decent froth in our Nespresso frother for oat milk lattes. Agree with the feeling of too much sugar content as well - could do without! Overall, a decent price, easier to find in stores than other brands…just be wary of the “rapeseed oil” in the Full Fat version!
