  • Creamy, luxurious mouthfeel
  • Reliable, barista-grade frothing
  • Smooth, neutral oat flavor
  • Versatile, beverage performance
  • Additive-heavy ingredient list
  • Seed oil, rapeseed inclusion
  • Occasional digestive discomfort
  • Sometimes overly sweet taste

Oatly impresses in reviews for café-worthy performance—its Barista Edition froths reliably and delivers a creamy, smooth texture that elevates coffee, matcha, and lattes—while dividing opinion over formulation. Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. Overall, Oatly is considered a top-tasting, highly consistent oat milk for beverages, but less appealing to buyers prioritizing ultra‑clean ingredients.

  • The nutrition was the main appeal as my son is allergic to milk. Taste and texture were ok, we prefer silk Next Milk.

  • I highly recommend the original/non-sweet versions! The original and "low-fat versions do not have sugar added! The flavored milks and "barista" editions contain unnecessary sugar - do not recommend those...

  • So delicious, very creamy. The closest to real milk you’ll find, as long as you get the extra creamy version. My son is super picky but he liked this one.

  • The only non-dairy milk that has a neutral taste. It doesn't ruin the coffee!

  • Needs cleaner ingredients.

  • Oh man I was so skeptical of "oat milk" until my coworker brought a carton in for everyone to try. I've never met a non-cow milk that I liked more than cow's milk! It's creamy, delicious, and plays well with any beverage you're adding it to. My favorite way to have it is in a latte, and I can always taste when the coffee shop is using Oatly vs. a different brand. Oatly's just superior to any other oat milk on the market. Also, I've been buying it for my home fridge and using it to cook oatmeal with (oat on oat). It's the best. I've only had the non-flavored Oatlys but would love to try the others soon for my oatmeal and to make special drinks!

  • I can drink Oatly anywhere and surely makes my coffee more enjoyable.

  • It tastes amazing

  • best companion of my coffee!

  • Great oat milk, perfect for foam, I like how creamy it is.

  • Dairy milk texture and froth-ability without the dairy milk side effects. This brand is perfect for frothing hot and cold and full bodied enough to mend wield in a latte. I wish they didn’t formulate with gums but I’ve found that the oat milks without additives have a distinctively “oat-y” taste that overpowers even the richest espressos. Clever packaging, easy to find now that the supply chain is repaired, and line priced with competitors.

  • absolutely love the brand. I am lactose intolerant and this is an amazing alternative. The packaging is perfect for recycling and the product it self never leaves bad after taste which I noticed with other brands.

  • The barista version is the only one i drink to my coffe.

  • Oatly is really creamy and smooth. A good drinking milk alternative as it is not too thick. I like to drink Oatly chocolate after I eat a vegan dessert such as a cookie. Oatly goes down good and is very refreshing especially when cold. I use Oatly vanilla in my cream of wheat and it makes of the best flavor enhanced breakfast ever! The cream of wheat turns out extra creamy.

  • Not the best oat drink I had but it is totaly ok.

  • Good flavor but I prefer Chobani as it just tastes creamier.

  • I think maybe I'm not the target audience for oatmilk. I can't get past the texture, but it was super sweet and creamy. If you like oat milk I think you'll like this

  • I really enjoy their products, although they are quite expensive. the texture of the vegetal milk is unctuous and really steps up my coffees / drinks ! I would highly recommend!!

  • I've been an alternative milk drinker since before it was cool. I have tried all the "milks" and can confidently say that when it comes to a dairy substitute for caffeinated needs, Oatly's oat-based milks are my favorite, hands-down. All varieties have a creamy body that is luxurious in coffee and hot tea and doesn't thin out the way rice or almond milk tends to. The full-fat, original, low-fat and barista editions all offer different levels of creaminess to your caffeine vehicle of choice but you won't be disappointed with any of the options. They all work tons better than the best most decadent almond milk on the market. There is less of a taste adjustment than coconut or cashew milk. Oatly brand oat milk, compared to in-house brands and other national brands of oat milk, stands apart from the competition because of the luxurious texture and very mild nutty taste. I don't know what alchemy Oatly has worked on oats to make this product so good but it is worth the premium price the product carries compared to the competition.

  • By far my favorite oatmilk but I don't always choose it because of the price/size! Not cause I don't want to, it's creamy and delish.
