Oatly earns strong reviews for creamy, dairy-like texture—especially the Barista Edition, which froths reliably for café-level lattes and blends beautifully in coffee, matcha, and baking—while critiques target ingredient lists with added oils/gums and a sometimes sweet or “oaty” aftertaste. Reviews also note occasional gut sensitivity and glucose spikes, plus variability in thickness across versions, making Oatly a standout for performance in drinks but not ideal for those seeking the cleanest formulas.

I love Oatly: the taste, texture, and ability to foam up like milk is the best non-dairy I've tried! However (and this is the reason I no longer add it to my morning coffee) its second ingredient is vegetable oil. Once I learned that, I couldn't not taste the oiliness of it! I also don't want to be downing veggie oil first thing in the morning.

I'm not an ingredients list reader, but I'd recommend reading the backs when shopping for a non-dairy alternative. It'd be awesome if Oatly made a 1-ingredient verison of their product (just oats!).

Oatly milk is the best , I use this in my daily iced coffees to replace regular whole milk. Its creamy and tastes so much better than regular milk.
I could take it or leave it. I think it has a pretty solid cold taste for a milk alternative but I found it somewhat chalky and bitter tasting when warmed for coffee drinks. Also didn’t like all the additives. I do appreciate that oats are one of the better non-dairy alternatives for environmental impacts.
My favorite oat milk I've tried. Milky and sweet + froth really well. I've tried various oat milk brands (Califia Oat, Minor Figures) but I still go back to the barista oat milk from Oatly every time.
There are few vices that get me going quite like an iced oat latte first thing in the morning and Oatly is my go-to milk substitute. Over the years, I've explored various dairy and non-dairy options and Oatly has a distinctive smoothness that tastes great and is easy on the stomach. Bonus points for convenient local availability and cute packaging!
I don’t really love oat milk. It has way too many carbs and spike up insulin levels like crazy in comparison to other alternative milks.
Great oat milk choice. Creamy!

Oatly... the company that I consider the one who brought oat milk to the masses, and can now be found everywhere I go. When you have other big corporations getting in and try to take market share from your product (*cough* a certain yogurt company *cough*), you know you've done something right. All the times I've had Oatly, it's been consistent. I continue to purchase, and would recommend.
It's a great alternative to almond milk!
I have used Oatley barista regular milk before. It is made with healthy ingredients. It appears slightly thicker than the average oat milk brand/ style. The taste is good, like plain oats is the best way to describe. I primarily used Oatley as a coffee creamer and as a base liquid for healthy homemade shakes made from a high powered blender. As a coffee creamer it is wonderful. Super thick and creamy. Also as a base for a healthy nutritious shake. I would recommend Oatley oat milk.

The taste of oat milk is not for everyone. But if your a coffee lover try it in your coffee.

Delicious oat milk in hot or cold beverages!

I wish this brand had cleaner ingredients.
Oatly is one of my favorite tasting oatmilks along with a creamy consistency that goes great with tea or coffee or making smoothies. When I don't make my own oatmilk, I will buy Oatly. I credit Oatly with converting me from soymilk which would make me feel bloated and gave me an alternative to almond milk which I never liked the taste of unless it was homemade.

I did take 1 star off only because I prefer my foods to have little to no extra ingredients. It doesn't have other thickeners like some popular brands but there are a few other oatmllk brands that are just oats and water. at a cost. The rapeseed oil is used to give the milk-like texture.
Love love love!

Great tasting - no 'nuttiness' aftertaste - and super smooth. I use it every day! Coffee, cereal, etc.
This is the best oat milk I’ve tried. I was not a consistent alternative milk user until I tried this product. Now, I will not be going back to cow’s milk.
My go to milk-alternative.
I'll be honest, I don't love the taste of Oatly oatmilk. There's something watery about it that is not my favorite. Their Barista Edition milk tastes great though! Overall, I'd like their original product to be less liquidy.
The full fat version tastes luxurious and creamy but the original is just as delicious too. The barista edition is great for coffee.
What I love about Oatly is that it froths better than other oat milk. It's a high-quality oat milk without a significant price difference from its competitors. The packaging is also very cute!
This oat milk is 10/10! Great for making lattes!
Overall, its a great product. The milk gets really creamy for lattes and coffee. it tastes great!

I love oatly, but i dont love that it has all of the vegetable oils / gums / fillers in it. There have been a few recalls which scare me!
