Oatly impresses in reviews for café-worthy performance—its Barista Edition froths reliably and delivers a creamy, smooth texture that elevates coffee, matcha, and lattes—while dividing opinion over formulation. Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. Overall, Oatly is considered a top-tasting, highly consistent oat milk for beverages, but less appealing to buyers prioritizing ultra‑clean ingredients.

Not my favorite tasting oat milk. Their recipe also contains fillers that aren't good for gut health unfortunately!
I was born in the mid 80’s, which makes me an elder millennial. So I was deeply effected by “Big Milk”. I’m also from the Midwest, which is dairy central. So it was a huge part of my daily diet. To this day I’m shocked that my body was able to consume as much milk as I did, considering how dairy can now ruin me on a good day. Needless to say I have come from the dark side. And after trying every type of milk in the game, and it seems now every oat milk in the game, Oatly is by far the superior brand in my opinion. It is creamy like regular milk, but it has an added sweet taste to it that I love. I’m so happy that I found an alternative to the life I once led. Life is good. :)
I’ve tried many oat milks and often find they are either too grainy or too watery. Oatly is always consistent in its texture and flavor. I started noticing it at my local coffee shops so there’s a reason it’s popular!

This oat milk is creamy and thick: my most wanted qualities in a non-dairy milk. I would recommend this for mixing into drinks... Oatly in an iced chai is my favorite!
Great in cereal and cooking - the only issue I’ve run into is that it tends to separate in high heat.
While the taste is fine, I can't believe they don't have organic options yet!! Oats are one of the most heavily pesticide-sprayed agricultural items and I refuse to consume non-organic oat products on any regular basis. I hope they do better soon!
I'm an oat milk convert and have to say, not all oat milks are made the same. They really nailed the flavour, creaminess and I like that it's slightly sweet but very subtle. I am also a big fan of their back to basics and playful, but standout marketing.
I think Oatly is the best of the best Oat Milks. I'm a little sad that oat milk is kinda high in sugars (naturally). Despite that- after trying all the other brands available- Oatly is my go to for oat milk.

First things first, the taste is incredible. Whether it's their oat milk, ice cream, or yogurt, Oatly has nailed the flavour. The creamy and smooth texture combined with a subtle sweetness is pure bliss. It has become a staple in my morning coffee, cereal, and even baking recipes. But also Oatly prioritizes environmentally friendly practices, and their dedication to reducing their carbon footprint is truly commendable. If I had to find one downside, it would be the price. Oatly products tend to be a bit pricier compared to other options on the market. However, given the quality and the sustainable approach, I'm willing to splurge a little for the taste and the positive impact.

Oatly is my go-to oat milk. I got my friend hooked on it as well. I buy the low-fat one even though the barista edition tastes better.
Love it in my morning coffee!

My go-to for my matcha lattes.
Use this in my coffee every day. I have gut issues and lactose intolerance but cannot be without my coffee and this is my go to. The website might also be one of the most innovative and artsy websites I have ever seen.

Always makes me super bloated. Ingredient list is filled with gums and oils.
I loved my oat latte with this brand

I like having oak milk as an option, and I lean towards Oatly quite often. It doesn't irritate my stomach at all, and it tastes good!
I use the creamers and love them :)
Sooo good. I make milkshakes and ice cream from the oatly and everything turns out amazing!

The original is best if you want a traditional milk experience. Chocolate or vanilla is best for a sweeter tflavor or for making milkshakes
I love oatmilk in my coffee and this brand is one of my new faves!

This is the best oat milk out there. It's creamy. It's traditional / milk-colored (I just had a blue-tinged oat milk from a different brand that was NOT IT) and is a good really close substitute for dairy.
