Oatly impresses in reviews for café-worthy performance—its Barista Edition froths reliably and delivers a creamy, smooth texture that elevates coffee, matcha, and lattes—while dividing opinion over formulation. Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. • Oatly tastes sooo good in coffee! Nutty and a little sweet. So good.

  • Love Oatly - use it every day. Best oat milk out there, especially if you make lattes at home!

  • Over the years, I have tried dozens of oat milks but Oatly Barista is my absolute favorite - it froths up beautifully, making my coffee look and taste amazing. The flavor is so much better than regular milk and in my opinion – it's smooth and subtly sweet. And here's the best part – Oatly is dedicated to sustainability, which makes me feel good about my choice.

  • I’m a barista and we use this in my coffee shop, it’s my favourite for steaming lattes. It’s the only oat milk that has a creamy enough consistency to make nice micro foam. It’s also great on its own.

  • Absolutely my preferred oat milk brand!! The barista version is deliciousss in coffees and matcha and a lot of cafes use it as well.

  • The taste is good and the packaging is environmentally sound. But, I’m not extremely excited about all the ingredients. Not all the ingredients are considered healthy or necessary so I would choose otherwise. Maybe if they changed those couple ingredients it would be better.

  • Oh, let me tell you about my experience with Oatley. From the first sip, I was impressed by its unique taste - not entirely perfect, but it grew on me. But what really stole my heart was their incredible eco mission! It's like sipping goodness and saving the planet at the same time. I felt like an eco-warrior with every carton I bought! Knowing that Oatley is committed to sustainability and making eco-friendly choices made me feel so good about supporting them. Who knew oat milk could be so environmentally conscious and tasty at the same time? So, if you're someone who enjoys trying out new flavors and wants to be a part of the green movement, Oatley is definitely a brand you should check out! Cheers to savoring life's little pleasures while doing our part for the planet!

  • Although this oat milk is a bit more expensive, I do enjoy their barista version when making lattes and in winter enjoy their cacao-drink. In a personal opinion, i do not like their oat yoghurt. It has a bit of a distinct taste, that even though it was with a berry-flavour was noticeable.

  • For someone who avoids dairy and soy, oat milk is my absolute favorite! Oatly was the first on my radar and I absolutely love the earthy taste. Best way to use it - in my morning lattes.

  • I buy this because I know this is the brand they use at Starbucks, but I can never get it to taste the same. Still, it’s become a staple in my refrigerator and my whole family drinks this instead of regular milk. As far as my experience goes, there’s not a better milk alternative out there.

  • My favorite oat milk! I put this in my coffee every morning and feel like I am at a coffee shop. So many oat milks are watery and fall apart, Oatly tastes great and does not do that.

  • I am allergic to lactose (you're reading it right-- i am not just intolerant; i am allergic). I have tried most all of the dairy free milks out there and Oatly by far has the best froathing ability when I make my morning coffee. It has a nice, rich texture, comparable to that of real dairy milk and it's relatively accessible in grocery stores. Definitely give it a try next time you're out to buy some nondairy milk!

  • The taste is good but it is not the cleanest as there is rapeseed oil and some other harmful additives. I look for oat milks that just have oats, water, and salt

  • I've compared different brands of oat milks at this point and I like Oatly, but there are other brands I like significantly more. I find Oatly's flavors to be quite light and the viscosity of the milk itself to be thin. My preference is towards Chobani for their flavors and their creamier versions that they offer. Overall, I do like Oatly, I just wasn't blown away by their milk product as compared to some of their competitors.

  • My absolute favorite oat milk. The ingredients could be better, but the taste is so good I keep going back to it. Great in smoothies, coffee, baking or on its own.

  • Oatly is my favorite milk alternative. Nothing compares! It's so creamy and light. It tastes good with any drink.

  • Creamy and delicious, my go-to oat milk for iced matcha lattes 😋
