Oatly impresses in reviews for café-worthy performance—its Barista Edition froths reliably and delivers a creamy, smooth texture that elevates coffee, matcha, and lattes—while dividing opinion over formulation. Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. Overall, Oatly is considered a top-tasting, highly consistent oat milk for beverages, but less appealing to buyers prioritizing ultra‑clean ingredients.

  • If you like oat milk, this product is for you. It has a nice thin skin milk like consistency and strong oat flavor. The carton works well as a serving size for 2 smoothie.

  • I love this oat milk and choose it over every other brand in the aisle. It’s creamy and perfect in coffee

  • Love Oatly's milk and ice cream. A great and affordable alternative to dairy. Goes perfect in coffee too

  • Great taste but has more ingredients than just oats and water which is not ideal/completely healthy since stabilisers and gums are in the ingredients list

  • Oatly has been a staple in my fridge for a while now, and while I appreciate its commitment to sustainability and plant-based options, I have to admit that the taste doesn't fully win me over. It's a decent milk substitute in coffee and cereal, but I find the flavor a bit too distinct for my liking. However, I do admire their mission and applaud their efforts to provide environmentally friendly alternatives. While it might not be my top choice, I still respect Oatly for its values and impact.

  • I have an incredible espresso machine at home as gifted by friends and family for my 40th Birthday. I personally drink whole milk. My wife and extended friend group drink espresso with oat milks. Oatly is the go to for its flavor pairing and as the barista it’s my go too for micro foaming for both texture and my amateur ‘art’ as I pour. One note to communicate is that I actually use the full fat product as my go to - it foams well enough for my espresso needs and is most efficient economically (bigger size for the $) so it also has more applications in the kitchen!

  • haven't found a milk alternative better than oatly although got a bit sick of oat milk lattes after a while :( is also great to bake/cook with which is a plus

  • Oatly tastes great and is a very approachable foray into oat milk. It's got a terrific creamy texture that goes well with everything from coffee to baked goods to standalone. My only issue with the brand is the extra ingredients that I don't love. Would prefer to see them release a cleaner version with just oats, water, and salt.

  • Creamy and delicious. Best tasting creamer on the market. It steams nice for a latte, flat white, and cappuccino.

  • I'm a big fan of alternative milks. Oat is my favorite options and Oatly really tastes good. I use it in my coffee and it makes it taste creamy just the way I like it. I will buy it time and time again.

  • My favourite new Oat milk! Great Taste for Coffees, Teas and even cereals, It's also well in date too at least a year or so of shelf life. So really handy to have in the cupboard should you need it.

  • Never thought I'd be one of those oat milk people but it goes great with my cometeer and has reduced my indigestion a lot.

  • Haven’t tried any of the non-milk products but have tried all the milks and love them. Low-fat is a little too watery for my liking, but besides that Oatly has made my lactose intolerance a bit less terrible.

  • Tasty oat milk, I just worry about the ingredient list. But there are worse out there.

  • Oatmilk is great but the real and clear winner here is their ice cream. Absolutely game changer for people that don’t eat dairy! I think the vanilla tastes similar to frozen cool whip in the best way haha the mint is also a favorite with me and my 5 year old who never lets me eat it alone 😝

  • A once diehard coffee fanatic who was adamant I would not be swapping to drinking dairy free milk with my coffee, I have been proven incorrect. Oatly is brilliant, I would quite happily swap this in as my new milk of choice going forward. Not only is it creamy and delicious but it's affordable and eco-friendly!
